The only time Rustal won out with deception was the falseflagging of the Dainsleifs so he could use them en masse. Most of the other successes were due to plot contrivance, the biggest one being Gaelio's survival being the main thing that screwed over McGillis' plan. Another big one being how Tekkadan lost its major allies the Turbines, purely out of Iok getting duped into attacking them by Jasley and Tekkadan timing their split with the rest of Teiwaz, not when they could've helped the Turbines and brought along another ally for that final battle later (one with vast resources, smuggling routes, etc.), but after when the only gain was revenge. Now this episode comes out, and it turns out McGillis really could solo with Bael until Gaelio comes out with his AV-type Ein. If Mika went with McGillis to space, he would've won. If Julietta, didn't go full Newtype with how she managed to make a decapitated arm's trajectory cockblock Shino's shot, he would've won. And if Gaelio stayed dead, McGillis would've won several times over. I don't know how you retards can call this realistic, when working with the logic within the show's universe, McGillis would've won several times over the course of the season if not for numerous contrivances so that the plot would be able to force a 'Protgonists Lose' ending. Its not realistic at all, its just contrived and forced.

There are only a few possible ways this can end at this point, with minor variations. The "happy end" is that Tekkadan fights for long enough that most of their members escape, and we get shown an epilogue clip with Mika's child's snowing that the world has reformed somewhat. The "bad end" will show most of Tekkadan dying off and Gjallajorn total victory with no change. Both of these are cheesy, but either way I feel like the writers will be more invested I showing Tekkadan's end than care alot what happens to the rest of the world. Personally, I'd like it if we saw Rustal face a genuine popular uprising back in the Earth Sphere that he can't control now that he's drawn all of his forces to Mars and we see his faction fracture as Gaelio decides to fuck off now that he's got his revenge against McGillis. Tickets for this kind of events usually are about 45-50$. This is overpriced as fuck. They couldn't even get any of the OP/ED artists to preform live. The big winter event also had twice as many seiyuu for half the price. If it truly is bad end then people will feel that ticket price this much more. Most of the people who are going to be in it are fujos as per usual. Gaeliofags who are only there for Matsukaze won't give a fuck about the ending since he already got his closure. Everyone else will probably be sad/angry/bitter if Tekkadan is decimated and everyone dies. Especially if Yamagi or Eugene die or they reveal that some nasty shit has been done to Shino/Flauros.
