More of Tekkadan should've died last season, with my main preference being Orga, looking back at things. However, by now, both Shino and Lafter are dead. That still leaves Azee, and I'm still fucking mad that not only she survived, not only went through brain damaged, but that they also Asspulled her into being the head of a new Turbines. So yeah, when Absolute Complete Asspulls, Plot Armors and Plot Contrivances happen its still fucking shit-tier writing and I hate it. And yeah, It was fucking annoying that Shino, Lafter and Azee didn't die last season and honestly they should have, but them surviving wasn't essential for Tekkadan's victory last season. Especially worse was that this season when the show basically pulls every trick in the book to force the protagonists to lose for muh grimdark meaningless protagonists accomplished nothing ending, when without a single one of those asspulls, they would've won. The Julietta scene was bad, but none of it made sense in the first place. The whip is attached directly to the arm so a piece of the arm was thrown.

Yeah rewatched that scene and its even dumber than I remember. Tekkadan had pretty effectively deceived Rustal and he used all his tricks, with a Dainsleif Round, his ships all firing and serving out his mobile suits corps up ahead. With then tricking him into focusing on the rear ship, Shino broke through enemy lines on the front ship and was right in front of Rustal. Rustal sent Julietta's team to attack the mobile suits in the back and she was in the middle of (somehow) holding off Mika. It literally doesn't make sense for her to be able to toss her thing all the way across like that to deflect Shino's shot based on where she was on the battlefield and who she was fighting.

I feel like they only survived because they got a sudden extension and only lived so they could kill them next season.

Yet Julietta in a slightly upgraded Graze with no AV, who was losing to Amida in a worse suit a few episodes ago, is not only able to hold her own against Mika for a long period of time and whilst doing that madness to have the time, focus, and foresight to accurately throw a projectile from the other side of enemy lines faster than it takes for Rustal's ships to fire.
