Seriously?!
Isn't the new Kong on 100ft tall?
I'm not too worried, though. He's just a kid.
Maybe american Ghidorah will be Kong-sized so he can feel like he's contributing.
They'll just have some supergrowth gizmo
Wouldn't be the first nor the last time

Yeah, All Monsters Attack was surprisingly good.
Any Photoshoppers out there? I'd love a PNG cutout of this Kong for most accurate size comparisons.

>it's like I'm really on /fit/, and we're using the known dimensions of objects to make people fel bad about being manlets
Huey's are 41 feet 11 inches long. Do math shit from there.

People love to root for an underdog! Kong is scrappy, and probably more intelligent
>>15353960
I still think the discrepancy is too much. It's like expecting a silverback to be any match for a bull elephant.
The old WWII guy mentions that Kong is still growing in the film. Assuming a Kong vs Godzilla movie takes place in the modern day, perhaps he'll have grown enough to match Godzilla's height, or at least close to it.
>>15353826
Didn't they say something about Kong continuously growing and getting bigger in the movie?
Kong would probably be about the same size in 45 years between SI and GvK.

>>15354081
I think, thematically, it would be appropriate for Kong to still be shorter than Godzilla, even if it's only by 50ft. He just seems like the underdog between the two, and it's always seemed like more of an 'Intelligence and cunning vs size and raw power' sort of deal when it comes to this matchup.

Kong running up Godzilla like Shadow of the Colossus would be pretty badass
>>15353826
He'll grow from drinking Dr. Makino's berries
>Kong and Godzilla fight
>Kong get revived by a lightening bolt like in the original movie
>They fight to a standstill
>Two more bolts hit Kong
>He gets the upper hand, but Godzilla finally whoops him
>Before he can kill him, the sky catches on fire and Godzilla's knocked back by three lightning bolts
>The sky condenses into the shape of a monster
>It's King Ghidorah
>Kong and Godzilla look at each other and nod
>To be Continued
>>15354945
They're already shooting their King Ghidorah load with Godzilla: King of the Monsters. I definitely do see them teaming up against a greater threat, but I'm unsure of what that could be.
>Kong and Godzilla's epic battle takes them to the bay
>Both beasts are waist deep in the water, smashing the shit out of each other
>Suddenly, the water begins to glow brightly several hundred feet away from them
>Pacific Rim kaiju begin to pour out of the undersea portals and are about to attack the two
>Another portal opens up, different color
>A bunch of jaegers come through, maybe it's established in PR2 that humans have stolen Precursor dimensional tech
>There's Gipsy Danger and a new Jaeger that looks very Jet Jaguar-ish

Remember what Homer said
>but Marge, the little guy hasn't done anything yet. He's gonna do something, and you it's it's gonna be good

you know*

Explain this
>>15353826
I think they say in the movie he is young and still growing.
>>15353826
what if the military gives him a big gun?
>>15354968
>To fight monsters
>We made monsters

Pretty much this. Godzilla is huge and powerful but also slow and and a taller Kong would be incredibly nimble near it. The most terrifying thing about Kong ishow he can use tools and think in smart way to attack (think giant boulder in your face from above)so he's a real threat to the big G given he's got taller by 2020.
How was Skull Island by the way?
>>15355960
Cool movie, poor acting/story overall (except for Samuel L. Jackson, once again on autopilot), great fights and the most brutal Kong ever. It was ok.
>>15354040
>I still think the discrepancy is too much. It's like expecting a silverback to be any match for a bull elephant.
>it's like expecting an X-Wing to defeat the Death Star
>it's like expecting David to defeat Goliath
anon, do you even into fiction??
>>15353826
This is a good plan.

Not bad, but it definitely went through the Hollywood Rewrite Machine one too many times and the Kong action got pretty boring by the end.
Looked nice, though. And all the characters who weren't Hiddleston and Larson were pretty fun.
