Just above a regular human but below everything else I assume, since Supah Piruhtes can only block out X-Rounders powers and even then only sometimes. And also because the one situation almost engineered for one, with X-Rounders being targeted still had the super pilot be useless. Some regular pilots like Uso are better really.

If you take X rounder to be the equivalent to a newtype, He managed to beat one of the best in his series with an older mech and beat down a few in age 2.

Zeheart might have been one of the strongest X-Rounders, and even one of the better pilots the Vegans had, but saying he was one of the best over-estimates his ability in my opinion, especially in his final fight given that his sanity was hanging by a thread at that point and all Asemu really did was put him down.

Also, Heero acquitted himself well in a bog standard Leo on a few occasions. Asemu acquitted himself well in a one generation out of date Gundam. And even that had been upgraded to compensate for it's age.

Before you say this Asemu was covered in plot armor for his super pilot fight at the very least, with opponents standing around in shock so he could cut them. The one time Asemu could have proved really useful, when Girard Spriggan was using anti-X-Rounder stuff he was useless and Flit had to do the work. Flit, who was using a Gundam even older than his.

I'd put the average X rounder above anything that comes up in Wing honestly, the 0 system was just, an unstable version of precognition which was a standard ability for X rounders.

He was way less dangerous. He basically rushes straight at Kio screaming, barely puts up a fight and then when Asemu reminds him about what he said Eden was supposed to be he stops fighting entirely. Also, if we take the Magicians 8 and others as the average X-Rounder, the average X-Rounder was a joke, precognition or no. As soon as they lost the advantage of precognition they were essentially worthless.

X-Rounders being a devolution was basically a one line thing, instantly forgotten. Not that the concept of "de-evolution" isn't silly and a misunderstanding of how evolution works anyways. Even in Memory of Eden, he puts up a bigger fight but is still too busy losing his shit to actually cause any significant damage to Asemu. The basically just have a typical Gundam stalemate fight where they miss or bang their melee weapons together ineffectually for an extra minute or two before Asemu instantly wrecks him just in the show.

The one point where Zeheart actually pins him down he opts to just scream like a lunatic and use Legillis's bear hands to do superficial pointless damage like rip off the plate by the cockpit hatch that doesn't do anything and then punch it in the face until Asemu gets free. Instead of actually using his many weapons to kill him.

Uso was basically "just" a Char low-level newtype, Shakti was the one with the HAX in Victory, but Usso was still a fucking monster at the ripe age of 13.

Anyway, Asumu would defiintly still rank below Garrod among the "Normalfag" Pilots, because Garrod BTFO'd Newtypes regularly once they started getting between him and Tiffa while Asemu was still being outshone by his settings equivalents in his son and dad and doesn't get to enjoy a TRUE LOVE powerup.

Look Garrod is a great pilot and all but people never get that right. He beat one Cyber Newtype only after being explicitly taught by Jamil how to fight bits. The only actual Newtype he fought he was helpless against until Tiffa showed him which suit was the real one.

The rest of the guys failed to activate and he beat the fast guy by sheer luck, the dual personality guy by double teaming with Witz and the armored guy Roybea had to basically solo because he was invunerable to everyone else's weapons.

Garrod's good, but him owning Newtypes left and right through his incredible skill is a meme. He beat Carris, after training for it, and nobody else without help.

He's absolute dog shit, but he's in a setting where everyone is ranked in the steaming pile of turd below him. About the only guy with any remote competence was his mentor, who died very early on thanks to the G-Self.

G-Reco had to be the most scrub friendly Gundam show in history. Even the GBF shows had more veterans and properly trained 'pilots' than G-Reco. It was basically lower than Gargantia tier, where at least Leto who gets carried all day every day by Chambers is still far more decisive than Bellri who can afford to rant all day then sperg out on the battlefield cause everyone else pilots like they are from the tumblr community.

And yet for some reason it made the fights rather amusing and entertaining due to how lighthearted it was. Very unique. I doubt we'll ever see it again.
