No. Basically what happens is constantly trying to find a way to make Kamen Rider and Super Sentai MEGA HITS again rather than shows that live on their legacy for popularity.

So Kamen Rider is constantly fluctuating in terms of how the writing is handled since no matter how good the Season is, the biggest thing they still had in years was Den-O and Decade.

It's sort of a blessing, because of how poorly Go Busters did with the Japanese, it's kind of killed Toei being willing to try a more serious Sentai again and then Daigoranger fucking cemented the current climate of cancerous Reds that steal the show, with varying levels of how bad, but seemingly killed having a stoic Red ever again.

What if Pallad's is Emu's bugster? Pallad is fond of Puzzle and Fighter games, both genres Emu is best at. Dan did say it was at the Tekken tournament that he saw the Bugster virus taken fruit. Pallad could have taken form during then.

So i'm conflicted about watching Kamen Rider Super 1 on my marathon because i hear not much happens that affects the series as a whole.

It's fucking great, and continues to knock it out of the park in nearly every regard for me. My only complaint is how they balance the fight choreography between characters. They do a fantastic job of giving everyone a respectable amount of screen time and relevance, but what works for the plot doesn't work as well for the fight scenes. It gets to feeling a little lackluster when the fights last five seconds and rush into a series of critical finishers because they're trying to give every combatant their own segment.
