Grongi in the manga still keep their "ritual" as their top priority. This grongi >>15325197 actually have been fighting with godai and lost her right eye in the process. Seeing her human form godai takes pity on her and let her roaming free in the homeless person area (the homeless actually is the one who saved her in the first place). Some nice moment between her and all of the homeless including godai which make him think that they can coexist together if given a chance.
The end result is she killed all the homeless
because of the ritual. She is actually like to play around for a while but if the ritual is not finished the cost will be her own life. In the last moment before she died after fighting kuuga, she remembered about her life in the homeless place and said that it was a good memory for her before dying.

In the recent raw both kuuga and agito's world start to converging into 1 story.

They introduced Tsugami shoichi and her sister with her sister being sacrificed into some sort of ritual which make her an agito in the end.

The chosen ones will become Agito, while the failed ones will become Grongi. Kuuga is a kind of Grongi.

Because Inoue's a fucking hack who couldn't come up with a direction for the Kuuga manga without referencing the shows he worked on personally.

I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to stuff Faiz and Kiva continuity into the plot next.

Someday someone should really purchase and read through the actual scripts before dumping shit everywhere with no bases.

The series were always related. In the first ep of Agito it is explained that G3 was created to fight the unidentified lifeforms (grongi). Also, G3 was based on Kuuga himself, the G1 version was basically a robotic copy of Kuuga.
