Update! This is as far as I can get on the PS4 version. I know the top says Error-35 but I'm not sure what the bottom text reads. "Declined to make request" perhaps? I might not be able to connect as I do not have PS+, however, I thought F2P games didn't require it on PS4. Game also could just be down. I'll try every few hours. PC version is still downloading.

Far as I know it requires a JP IP and SQEX account. So you'll definitely need a VPN for this, even to set up the account.

Is this ever gonna get an english release?

Alright, got a few things cleared up in the past few hours.

It appears for the PS4 version, you are correct. Not sure if I need PS+ or a Japanese IP still, but something is blocking me from accessing that version.

Luckily, the PC version works well! No VPN required and setting up a Square-Enix account was easy, without a VPN. Gameplay doesn't lag too much for me on the East Coast, although I'm still locked into PVE because of my low rank so we'll see how PVP goes. Takes forever to download so start now if you're at all interested.

I know for one they won't send you a code if you signed with an email that's already been used, even though they did let you sign with it.

The launcher opens up the game but all I get is a black screen? So close but yet so far..

No issues, though I've only tried PvP once after coming back. But yeah, it seems like people play PvE more.

Engineers seems super useless. Railguns are junk, took way too long to charge the damage and it's gone even if you just slightly move.

Just started out, didn't know until later on that the extended tutorial is on the "Season 1" campaign behind the Story menu, which gives you free frames and stuff.

How do I get my partners to switch to their secondary weapons?
