Finished my first route, and it was quite enjoyable. Now it's time to try Chitose, although I know that she's basically a female reflection of Soji in the story.
I must say that there are a lot of Gundams in the game, but the useful ones are not so many, so the combinations are a bit limited. Rather than all that Unicorn secondary shit, I would have preferred more Crossbone suits. F90, X2, Record Breaker, X3, but it's okey.

I'm a Mazinger Faggot so Shin Zero and Emperor was more than enough to make my day. Funny thing, everyone said Minerva X was a fake, however the image was authentic.

It indirectly got me interested in Fafner Exodus. SRW V brought me here and I stumbled upon a group of anons talking about it, which led to me starting the series. I'm about 14 episodes in and I'm really liking most everything about the show. The /m/ designs were kinda wonky at first, but I've grown to love them. Well the funny thing about those is that they have the exact same basic premise. Monsters from another dimension, fought (mostly in water) by an international team of stereotypes in double seater mechs, with the main duo made of a veteran who lost his previous partner years ago and a young girl who wants to prove herself.

The rest differs quite a bit but it's fun to think about.

I think that returning them to their original states is a nerf too powerful. Base granteed was pretty shitty with its lack of a spammable post movement attack and base bellzute was roughly on par with gespenst RV, which was one of the weakest real robots, and was even a bit weaker and less versatile. Anyways, degrading them to base form is uneccesary because there's already plenty of second rate units they can use in early game to fill the ranks while all the other upgraded units joins slowly such as the upgraded wildraptor, the gespensts, the grungust type 2, giganscudo, siegerlion, and they could always give you Ryuusei testing whatever would be name of the R-1 counterpart that forms the banpreios while the other two are in development

And true, Dracodeus can be weaker than raftclans, but only if you bothered to deploy al-van and calvina together, and their attack list aren't exactly compatible with their ranks and post movement or lack of it. You could deploy them in different squads for better compatibility with better partners, but then they wouldn't have the bonus damage unless you stick their squads like glue.

Games with scaled levels have a much lower exp cap than set-level games. On paper, it's to discourage you from killing anything under your level, but the enemy phase AI goes absolutely fucking apeshit for such a small number of units (yes, I know how the targetting AI works) that you can go the entire game without 95% of your units being directly-attacked. And only a small number of people have the patience to mostly dodge/evade on the enemy turn and get basically all their work done on the player phase.
