Im gonna miss this show, It's been surprisingly more fun than I anticipated. It's been the show i've most looked forward to each week.

You're conflating different things here. First of all, there hasn't been any change regarding the censorship of indecent material in Japanese law recently, what has changed is how the erotic manga industry is interpreting the law. Because the law doesn't actually describe what needs to be censored in order for an image to no longer be considered "indecent", finding out what is acceptable for the law is basically a matter of throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks. The previous status quo had been going on for a while without anyone getting arrested, but in 2013, arrests did happen and the rest of the industry recoiled in response.

None of that has anything to do with showing bare titties on TV, however. Since you can easily find depictions of naked breasts without censorship for sale in Japan, it's fair to say that merely that isn't considered "indecent" by the government's interpretation of the law, so that particular law isn't invoked here. The fact you don't really see naked breasts on daytime TV anymore has more to do with the rules broadcasters enforce than the law. Of course, for a home video release there are less of those rules, but even then you have to consider whether the increase in sales from having uncensored boobs on the BD (likely not many, if any, in this case) is worth having to deal with complaints from angry parents who bought it for their children.

I do wonder how the ending is going to go, though. We all know the boss is actually Calen's boyfriend, but would they REALLY go with such a cliché ending?

I'm pretty sure the fake moon landing episode with X-Files references everywhere was a big middle finger to the people who decided to cancel this show. It's pretty obvious that it was meant to go on for MUCH longer.

On the plus side, both the openings of this show are absolutely gorgeous with great music. This was the one anime where I never skipped the opening because the music was THAT GOOD and it really set the mood for the episode itself.

I blame Hino for this somehow, Level 5 didn't even bother to make tie-in games. Meanwhile Heybot does whatever it wants (including bringing up scrapped concepts in the show itself) and still goes on regardless. Probably a spiritual blood sacrifice after what happened to Brave Beats.

At least it did air longer than Yatterman Night, I guess.

Okay, I've had an odd TB24-related dream last night. I can't remember it clearly, but...

Then again, the writer used to be a secondary writer for Yatterman '08, so he doesn't strike me as one who would rely on crude jokes.

Welp, only a few hours left.

It's crazy to think that shows like Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, etc., keep getting renewed non-stop yet something like Time Bokan 24 in the Top 10 doesn't. I'm hoping the last episode isn't a scenario where the Da Vinci part takes up 18 minutes with only a couple of minutes for "the plot" to end in a "hilarious, unexpected manner" letting everyone down.

I don't know how important this is, but when Tokio and Calen brought out that super robot (forgot its name), Oyadarma told Bimajo and the gang something to the effect of "so they used it..." as if Oyadarma KNEW about that robot...but how would he?

I've very interested to see how they tie up loose ends.

She rejected him refusing to believe that "her boyfriend speaks that way", which suggests she believes her true boyfriend may still be somewhere (she's just a bit delusional on this subject). The very end of the final episode also seems to hint at Calen starting to develop a thing for Tokio though, so who knows.

All things that will never get clear answers even with a S2, I bet.

I dunno, Time Bokan shows generally have loose ends tied up by the end of the shows, even if it's after the fact via supplemental material like in the original Yatterman's case. Even Time Bokan emulators like Goldran and Genshi-Kun got their plot points resolved, despite the characters' adventures still continuing on afterwards.

In any case, we'll see in six months.
