They're alright. Iczer-3 has some pacing issues, but it's as self-contained as the first one. Iczelion even more-so, and Iczelion in particular looks quite beautiful. It's a shame they never continued it, because it seemed to be hinting to an awesome reunion later on. And the production for Iczelion was top-notch.

Honestly, I can't see it. Maybe Pre-Gold Sir Violet might give him a chance, but Iczer 2 is a no-bullshit, no-horseshit, Power Is Justice sort of person, and unless Shapiro can sync with her, she'd see him as just all talk.

Shapiro got as far as he did because the Muge gave him a chance to begin with, but that's because they love a good war and wouldn't mind accepting this weird human who wouldn't mind betraying the entire planet for some power and glory.

The Cthulhu are trying not to die and trying to find a planet of their own. Pre-Gold, maybe he could trick them into doing something. Post Gold, they'd find out what he knows and then have a bug eat his brain and post as him.

All the Kutholoo are tragic figures, as most of them aren't really bad. Sepia and Cobolt are actually nice people. They are just shaped by their upbringing to be racist towards others. Sepia has her hesitation when she sees an actual person in harm's way.

Iczer 2 was made for one purpose only: defeat Iczer-1. She just can't get past that or adapt. That's why she's so tragic. She attacks Iczer-1 after she's gotten her powerup because she is unable to make any other decision for herself.

I love the English dub. Fight me. Iczer-1 is motherly and adult. Nagisa sounds twice as retarded, as she should. Iczer-1 sounds like an authoritative adult.
