What would happen if a newtype's soul is absorbed into their suit's psycoframe, but bound in a way that the newtype can still control their suit and is fully conscious that they're now a mobile suit given life?

Would it end up like Blue Destiny and they'd kill everyone trying to get out, or would they just go back to their former lives except now as a giant robot?

It'd be all fine and dandy for rest of the war, they/it'd probably rake in a lot of kills due to the 1:1 reflexes and stuff. Top brass would love it and the mecha newtype would be considered a war hero.
But then the war ends and now they have this 18m tall death robot who just wants to go back to the countryside and live a quiet life, so the Federation government would build an MS sized farm house for them/it/whatever.
