It's so weird how everything about this show is perfect but they keep doing these "Sentai-isms" that make the experience just a little bit worse. That roulette wheel was probably the biggest laugh I had for explaining why they don't just send all of them at one time

But hey, at least Gold and Silver are still great.

I guess I just really liked Raptor's arc this episode, it was better done than I expected to see this robot built for a specific role get to have a dream. She's a great character, probably the best after Champ and Balance.


Also I thought post-conquest Earth was surprisingly dark. The kid's dream was just to "eat a big meal", usually in these dream episodes they show them dreaming about the future and get all lofty, and this kid is just going hungry. And then there's the parents who have given up on fighting back. Pretty well done. I hope Jark Matter stays a threat and doesn't just dissolve into mild weird annoyances like the Deathgaliens.

Pretty much the only bad thing here was that Lucky is probably going to end up in every sortie because YOSHA RUCKY, not to mention the fact that he's the main suit.

In terms of kinda bad kinda alright is that they are already on Earth, but there is some sort of secret they need to discover there so maybe they will end up finding it and leaving the planet again. Also balance and naga end up getting split up in the first half of the next episode which could make for something interesting interactions with the other cast members.

If they just toned down Lucky (by keeping him on the ship or putting tape over his mouth) this show would be a lot better.

Ban and Jan also calmed the fuck down over the course of the show as they developed and matured. When we see Ban nowadays, he's may have his moments, but he's overall far calmer and more professional.

Daigo never stopped being BUREIBU DA ZE and Takaharu never stopped being moete kitaaaaaa.

Again, it's not that the red is over eager or zealous, it's that no one else is there to balance.

See the Daigo examples - no one was there to rein him in, everyone sucked his cock, and he was always right. Even Takaharu and Right weren't as severe and looks like Lucky will be going Daigo's way.
