GUESS THEY JUST GIVE DAN THE DEATH PENALTY STRAIGHT AWAY

This was a pretty great episode. Liked how they tied in all the characters and how their lives have all been ruined by Dan Kuroto. Wish the fight between Emu and upgraded DZ was more substantive, but I liked that Emu jumped straight into the fucking finisher with no hesitation.

Starting the actual game. It's pretty clear Chronicle is actually going to happen based on the newest set pictures with mass produced Ex-Aid style Riders.

Also, I doubt it'll happen, but it'd be cool if they used the Legend Rider Ex-Aid suits for the actual past Riders in Chronicle. They really just need helmet repaints and color swaps of an outfit that's almost spandex, so maybe it could be done.

No, it's Redwank as fuck. Every single upgrade we've seen in catalogs so far (of which there have been several) are Red-only. Every episode has been resolved by something Red has done, and every new member of the team has been convinced to join because Red gives them a pep talk or beats them in a fight.

Blue joins the team after being beaten in a fight and convinced to fight alongside the rest of the team by Red. Next episode literally all of his lines are about how much he trusts and respects Red and how great Red is.

Rider has much more freedom than Sentai does, in terms of ability to make a show that doesn't stick to a formula and still have it received well.
Literally all Rider needs at the very least is cool toys, a transforming hero that beats up monsters and a bike in some form.
Sentai can't really leave its formula, which really hinders the quality of shows and ability to do things differently.

Maybe I am wrong, but there were tons of exciting Moments throughout the entire series. Even when thing go 100% full retarded, like during the time travel arc, it it still more intense than most of Wizard. Otoya vs King kept me on edge.

hell we had quite a few alterations to the formula, Ryuki and Gaim for for several riders and offer more conflict between said riders, Ex-Aid barely had a bike and Drive went with car instead(but one very old rider did the same right?)
Basicly I see a lot more that can be done with the concept of Kamen Rider than Sentai, if only because it doesn't rely on having team of 6 that needs character development

I loved that scene with him.
He shows up, plays his game with Snipe, and then when it ends in a draw he just smiles and more or less goes "wew that was fun btw careful about Dan he's insane" then leaves. No grumbling or "I-I'LL REMEMBER THIS" or anything.

I don't think Pallad is naturally evil, it's just in his Bugster nature to play games. I really hope there's something in the future with Pallad struggling with his nature as a Bugster or something. Going against his nature and proving himself to be "human". That'd be nice.

Depends on how it changes, Dan is such an important part of the plot you can't just not have him while making the show the same.
Also, if you take something good out of a show of course it won't be as good, this is basic.
But going by what you're actually asking, the main 3 characters drama is also good and so are Pallad and Kujo when alive so it would probably still be at worst a decent show. The thing is that, given Pallad might join the good guys(or at least opposte the bad guys) and the main three already pretty much working together(even if Hiiro doesn't fully accept Taiga) there isn't much room for TATAKAE, since its now everyone against Dan with the ocasional Pallad meddling. Without Dan it would pretty much be an usual multi rider show.

Upgrading the DZ Gashat probably caused the same problem as Emu trying to use the blank double Gashat. He tanked enough of the virus to actually trigger an active infection.
