Hey /m/.
I got a question. Well, two, really.
What are some good, if not just decent mecha anime from around the 1970s-90s?
So far I have watched/am watching/on a list of mecha anime are:
-Mobile Suit Gundam (Watched)
-Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam (Watching)
-Armored Trooper VOTOMS (Watching)
-Mobile Police Patlabor (Plan to watch)
-Mazinger Z (Plan to watch)
-Getter Robot (Plan to watch)
-Neon Genesis Evangelion (Watched)
-The Big O (Watched)
Anything else?
And on a side note, how's the 80s Tetsujin-28 anime compared to the 2004 one, which I heard was the best, and one I need to see.
70's: Combattler V
80's: Gunbuster
Ideon
90's: GaoGaiGar
Mobile Fighter G Gundam

Hades Project Zeorymer

Martian Successor Nadesico

You're very welcome. I heard it was basically Gundam mixed with Dragonball Z. It's the most subtle Gundam series.
Giant Robo: The Day the Earth Stood Still
Roujin-Z
Delpower X Bakuhatsu Miracle Genki

Turn A Gundam is up there in terms of subtlety.
It's a period drama from the 1910's~20's.

I would recommend the Mazinger crossover movies. They're the quickest way to get into Mazinger.

Pretty bland. Generic as fuck.

It also almost killed the franchise if SEED didn't rescue it.
