Eh, I liked it. It wasn't the granddaddy MM successor everyone hoped for but far from one of the worst games ever made

Trying to develop on every console in the world at once, without any experience doing this like WayForward had.

A dash-into-enemies mechanic that required you to get up close in a game about shooting things with guns, and would also hurt you if your timing wasn't exact.

Going with 3D models instead of spritework when that didn't work for Mega Man either the two times he did it. The 3D helped make the platforming even looser and harder to judge, especially with regards to dashing through small gaps.

Pausing the game for dialogue instead of having it automatically play in the background. Also, not writing good dialogue.

Overpromising the ability to copy everything's powers and failing to deliver. Delivering that promise about a decade ago with Megaman Zero 4 so that we already knew it could be done. Not just taking a leaf out of Kirby's book and giving the mooks the same copy powers as the bosses, only with limited ammo until you beat the boss.

Powers virtually all being "shoot the mans" when you already have a shoot the mans weapon with infinite ammo. No powers like Leaf Shield or Strike Chain that do useful things outside shooting the mans.

Basically, fucking everything.
