I'm talking about Infinity, a tabletop game Overwatch is based on for the most part.
It doesn't go anywhere near as far with the whole super genius African tribes thing (which is kinda lazy if you don't set the game in a very far off future which this universe is not being mostly today's world with a few outlying but incredibly old sci-fi ideas like hover cars) but it features stuff like Haqquislam, a faction of Middle Eastern muslims who got tried of the shit and redid the society, got good and such, PanOceania and the like.
The lore gets outright rejected everywhere outside of the tidbit about America and Scotland having a bro-ship colony with outdated tech and guts to show for it.
