Remember that time were from out of nowhere we got Cyborg 009 vs Devilman in netflix? well now we go for a full netflix project around Devilman. Although it seems the description makes it very clear that they are going for the Toei version, I still hope they go for something more faithful to the manga or a mix of the two.

Looks like a website mistake to me.
It'll be interesting to see what comes of this.
>Toei ver.
Assuming that this is true(since their isn't a lot of sources, only screencaps) and assuming that this is live action. I would have really liked them to go to the manga's roots. Since The anime is way more action like while the latter is more of a mature story, which is Something netflix originals are known for

It's probably just a filler description until details are released.

Doesn't sounds at all like a new project to me, sounds like it's just a stream of 1972 Devilman. Since that has never had a TV release in major English language territories you can count on it being labelled a 'Netflix Original'.

The Toei series has been licensed for years my dude
>>15275241
Doesn't mean they can't still stream it and call it an "original."
>>15275261
Are you one of those people who gets way too butthurt about Netflix calling shows they produced the English versions for "Originals"?
>>15275275
Nah, not really. I just find it kind of amusing.

The info comes from the Japanese Netflix. 1972 devilman has been on there for years. Why don't you read a fucking article before you post, /a/?

Pretty sure quite a few of them have since there's a 200 and something post thread over there sabout this right now.

Proof that Devilshit doesn't belong on this board

Godzilla goes to tv

Why do I get a bad feeling about this?
