Just finished reading both the FMP novels and manga.
How does everyone feel about this series?
I really, really liked it and I'm sad it's over.

I like Laevatein's design and concept, if anything.

2/10 won't read again

This, I thought g18s had a fire selector on the slide?

Fantastic, tied for my favourite mecha franchise with Fafner. I'm so happy we're getting a continuation.

Beautiful
FMP was my first mecha series, so it has a special place in my heart.

I'm sorry you dislike facts

What facts did you present there?

Surprising amount of detail for a gun in manga.

>expecting some manga artist from cuckstate of a nation to know anything about firearms
wew lad.

Impressive shitpost from someone inside one himself senpai

Funnily enough I think more manga artists/authors get guns right than American comic artists.

Guess again.
I really enjoyed, I just read the manga through.
I love re-reading the parts when the bomb is dropping and he begs for more time to watch the video.
it is really good indeed.

>he fell for the space-gun-ified 92fs meme
why

Japan has a thriving gun culture even with the heavy handed gun control over there.
A lot of it is probably sustained on the back of airsoft these days but you'll never find a more detail obsessed nation when it comes to shootbangery.

The 90-Two introduced features and upgrades that wouldn't be seen on other 90-series pistols until years later.

Why can't the artist get an airsoft replica?

Why would you not just get a px4 instead

>Why would you not just get a px4 instead
I was considering it at the time. Ultimately I went with the 90-Two because I'm more familiar with 90-series pistols and because the aftermarket for parts and accessories is more ubiquitous than the Px4. Also, I liked that the 90-Two had a full metal frame and field strip had fewer loose assemblies.

IMO the 90-two is one of those strange frankenstein curiosities that's more a collector's item than anything else.
God, even the name makes me cringe.
The only notable internal difference is the recoil buffer which isn't really necessary at all.
Also I think the px4's rotating barrel action is a lot more comfortable to shoot than the 92's tilting block

I think being an oddity in the line is kind of cool, but at the end of the day it's still part of the Beretta 90-series and marketed for LEOs and armed security personnel. The 90-Two introduced numerous features and upgrades that wouldn't be seen on other 90-series until years later in the -A1 models and some ideas in in the new M9A3 were first tried out on the 90-Two. Beretta felt that the amount of new modern features that went into the new design were enough to label it as a second generation of the 90-series pistols (hence the name). As far as internal upgrades, there's no real data on how effective the shock buffer is and we can only take Beretta's marketing team's word on it, but it can't really hurt anything regardless. Personally I think the most significant of the internal upgrades was the captive spring/rod assembly since it prevents them from shooting across the room or into a bush and is less cumbersome when trying to re-install than the traditional loose spring and rod. Also you don't have to the thing where you have to hold the slide black and manually flip up the takedown lever.

>the best version of this pistol is the original model of the Pre-B original, few of which were likely to have been made
Sounds like a hipster.
