Haven't visited this general since V's release because I don't wanna get spoiled, but I'm now on the final stage waiting for my vita to recharge before I tackle the final boss.

This game exceeds my expectation in all aspects. If I have to complain, it's that Vang Nex is weaker than Vang Ray until the last three stages. Is Gran Vang significantly stronger than Vang Nex? Because Shunrai is only 100 points higher than Rekka, while having none of Rekka's advantage (ammo based, ignore size, pierce barrier, post movement)

It's gonna take like 20 years until V gets into OG considering how slow are the releases and how few "series" are used in them, so it is impossible to predict what will do the trick. The balmar are out because they have their plot as good as done in the next one or two games, the DS 3DS games are still going to take their bloody time to be used one at time and then there's the five Z games to do. If banpresto continues with their traditions of doing plots in production order per console, odds are that the killers of Souji's squad are going to be original characters from a yet to be developed 3DS/switch game or with luck, from Sidereal

Actually Z3 was a huge dissapointment because it was mostly OG stuff rather than anything, most of the series were handled horribly with not much plot to back then up aside from half of the cast just being there.

The only one I can say for sure was a waste is Crossbone. They included the show, Skull Heart, and Steel 7, yet only adapt TWO chapters from all of them, and it omitted most of the people involved.

In terms of units, nothing was stopping them from adding Harrison. Plot wise, the Mother Vanguard is destroyed, and the Flints aren't that important so animating 3 grunts would probably cramp the game more (I wish they were in, but I can live with it) but Harrison literally only needed a recolored F91 WHICH THE GAME ALREADY INCLUDED, and Harrison could just borrow most of his lines from Alpha 2 or G Gen. Fuck, there's even a perfect set up for him to join during the first few stages but it's all wasted for no reason.

I just got the choice between speed or power for Chitose. Which one does /m/ recommend? I've mainly been using her as a resupply/repair bot and pairing her up with Shin Getter and Mazinger to help alleviate their inability to dodge and their massive EN consumption. She's nearly aced due to picking up the scraps of what's left over (Hit & Away is fantastic for this) after the Supers waltz through on their way to the biggest and the baddest threats. I'm assuming speed makes the Vangray more like a Super, whereas power is more like a Real.
