In other news, I beat Battle Dodgeball because I'm a poorfag and can't afford V.

However, Battle Dodgeball was surprisingly good for its time, and as my first experience with the Dodgeball RPG sub-genre, I would strongly recommend playing it at least once. It's pretty grindy though.

Does anyone know what the hell the special pilot skill "Standby Strategy" does in SRW V? Going by the horrible translation, it seems like I have to do nothing with everyone for an entire turn for 1 pilot to have Accel and Awakening used on them, while also gaining 5 SP.

That seems like a terrible tradeoff for not doing anything with anyone for that turn. Now, if it only requires the equipped pilot to do nothing, it might actually be worthwhile.

Here's the translation: If you end player phase without any action at the beginning of your player phase, spirit commands Awakening and Accel will be effective. Recovers 5 SP to main pilot.
