Only two, arguably three, of these things aren't true though.

Alain and Makoto receive plenty of development in the first half of the show until they're regulated to cheerleader squad. Javert and a few other side characters get some decent development too I guess.

They also don't job too bad despite what /krg/ says. Makoto has his dumb clones to fight in the second half and he and Alain start holding their own against the Ganmeisers pretty quickly. When your big huge threats are being used like generic foot soldiers you really can't have jobbing.

Wizard being better is up to debate. I think Ghost is better because it at least tries to use it's potential even if it's faulty.

Ghost is a very uneven show. There's good, but there's a whole lot more bad. The first half is pretty decent. The Ganma world is interesting enough, Alain is great, Makoto is alright, Takeru is bland and a bit up his own ass but not too terrible, Akari somehow manages to stay relevant.

Then the second half starts and all good grace formed by a serviceable and mediocre season dies. Everything after Deep Specter's introduction is fucking trash with very few exceptions. The filler gets worse, most characters just stand there while Takeru says INFINITE POTENTIAL over and over again, Adel not having anymore mystique ends up turning him into a boring villain, and worst of all the goddamn Ganmeisers are not only boring but they're used in a way where they're not even fun to watch in a fight. And they don't fucking die. Toei didn't even give them all fucking suits so you watch the same two suits over and over again fighting the same boring fight every goddamn episode for twenty episodes straight.

The big thing is that it only happened with recycled Ganmizers. During the debut of new ones, Necrom and Specter were always powerless against them. They weren't allowed to defeat a single actual monster of the week in the last 18 or so episodes of the series.

The first time each Ganmizer with a suit was defeated (and also the only time they were the center of episode's plots) they were always defeated by Takeru. Specter and Necrom only defeated Ganmizer when they had been destroyed once already and then returned in some minor role.

After like 35 there are no more new monsters. And the new one in that area was an exception and all three beat him in a joint attack. And that Ganmeisers never even appeared again in group shots I think.

The Ganmeisers are rarely even the focus of their introductions. Igor and Adel just use them as generic muscle almost right after introductions. A lot of them are fought two at a time to burn through them. It's a really short period not worth inflating. Ghost has actual problems and /krg/ always inflates shit like the Makoto dad stuff instead. A scene I was happy for because Takeru stopped getting his dick sucked.

Nah, you aren't remembering things right. After Mugen's debut, the show was filled with new Ganmizer suits that usually were the main opponents for two episodes each one - and Takeru was the only one allowed to beat them for the first time.

There's Ganmizer Fire significantly before the others and not really related to the above.

Afterwards, right after Takeru returns from the broken Eyecon, there's Ganmizer Liquid in 34 and 35, which was the main brute force there, even if the plan was moved by Igor.

Then Ganmizer Wind in 36 and 37. 38, Adel and afterwards that one unique Ganma omega was the main opponent, so another episode where only Takeru could win.

Episodes 39 and 40, Ganmizer Climate and Planet - but both are only destroyed by Takeru in 42.

Episodes 39 and 40 are the ones that feature the goofy Ganmizer that got beat by all three working together though.

Basically, the main issue of them jobbing is this stretch after Mugen's debut, from around episode 33 up to 42. Even after that though, there's the issue neither Makoto nor Alain were allowed to do anything against the main villains (Adel or the fused Ganmizer), even if they could beat any single Ganmizer easily by that point.

To be honest, his actions were quite understandable. After his experience in the restaurant, he couldn't consider the Amazons as monsters. He saw beings trying to survive and live a stable life. Ethically speaking, the Amazons were not guilty of anything. Just like we are not ethically wrong or evil for eating animals (to a degree). It's just that Haruka wanted to help them, but didn't know how.

Think of it... You have 2 sides in the game. Your team wants to eliminate every Amazon, and then there's that rogue dude you can't control, who also wants to eliminate every Amazon. What are you gonna do? He had two choices.. either do what he did, or "shut down" his emotions and do the job.

The whole blame lies to the company. They could have helped the Amazons one way or another, but chose not to (for possibly obvious reasons).
