This is normal for character songs. The singers are credited by having their names written next to the character's in the artist field. So most of the time its like this:

"Animu Song" by "Character Name (CV: Seiyuu Name)"

I see lots of posts trying to predict what type of music next Macross will have. The choices are actually limited. All Macros music is produced under Flying Dog label and there is almost zero chance it will be changed. So whoever will be writing music for the next Macross should be signed under Flying Dog or its parent company Victor Entertainment (JVC).
I saw some people here wanted synthwave, rap and some other not typical for anime stuff. Not happening because it will be hard to find someone within Flying Dog's available resources to write this kind of music. For the same reason we won't get any popular composers like Sawano, Iwasaki or Yuki Kajiura. They work with other labels and it will be not in Flying Dog's best interest to hire them.

What we know for sure is that Kawamori wants music to be different in every Macross. So probably no more 5 member idol groups. My prediction it will be either idol duo singing usual jpop or all girl [soft] rock band (basically Fire Bomber with girls only).

It isn't very good, the problem is Junna's voice she's trying too hard to sing it, but doesn't have the emotion to back up the song. The instrumentation for Diamond Crevasse is simple so it relies on the singer having emotion in their voice. Junna doesn't have the experience to do that yet.

Whatever people's complaints about the show, I've generally liked all of Walkure's songs. It's idolpop, but it's well done and varied idolpop and some of the songs are actually amazing. It's like idol kino.
