The current tier 0 deck is literally unaffected by this, and now everything else in the game is worse, it's only gotten better.

The only petdeckers unaffected are Mermailfags, ultra nostalgiafags still playing vanilla beat, and people clinging to the carcass on Monarchs. Every petdeck is dead, but the $500+ engine meta deck still lives.

The only people who like this change are turbo nostalgiafags who don't truly care about the game anyway.

Ragnarok Odyssey Ace if you're a Ragnarok fan, ignore it otherwise because it's so so.
Stranger of the Sword City is getting a new exclusive Vita edition with more contents and mechanics so look out for that if you like dungeon crawlers

There's also some decent /m/ budget games around like Assault Gunners or Damascus Gears, look into those, they're fun in short bursts of mindless shooty fun.

It depends on the pacing and what they give you honestly. Alpha 1 and Z1 never got boring to me even though they were really long because they kept the plot moving and still gave you new stuff to use even during the final stretch.

Tengoku was boring as shit because not only does nothing happen in the final 10 stretch but original bosses and enemies for the most part, but they basically gave you everything right from the start so there was nothing interesting anymore.

X-O constantly updates and if I'm reading things right, the guy on Mechanical Saviour gets his sprites from someone else for that game, who does it on a "when I feel like it" schedule.

So at one point the rips were all of them, but by now there's more.

Impact does a lot of cool stuff with it. The Big Barrier is also the fight ring from G Gundam, Gai has the Super Upper as an attack, and Aesties are quite good.

Playasia is usually pretty fast for me. It typically ships a day early (or rather my timezone means that the release day in Asia is a day ahead of me) and gets here in on or two days.

Granted it's not fast as National Console Support which is literally an hour away from me and is usually at my door the very day I order it or the next day at the latest, but they don't stock the SEA version.

Z3's problem was not because of the team behind it, it was because it had to be THE GRAND FINALE TO ALL THINGS FOREVER (despite every game in the quintology except Hakai-hen acting like that was the case by the finale) so the game was all OG, all the time. And the OG enemies just were not interesting in any way.

As long as V focuses primarily on the licensed stuff and not OG, it already avoids Z3's biggest pitfalls.
