This is satire, right?

You'd think, but no it is not
>>15220094
Did you mean parody?
It's a remake of Gundam SEED which itself is a remake of Metal Armor Dragonar which itself is a remake of Mobile Suit Gundam.

Yes the 1st ED was memorable. I believe it went something like
>BOKU JANITORS~
>BOKU JANITORS~
>BOKU JANITOOOOORS~
I never get why Valvrave is ever hated.

Satire has a message. This is just partially parody
>>15220332
It's not parody.
>>15220332
Satire specifically has a message presented in the form of ruthlessly mocking a particular platform.
Valvrave does ultimately have a hamfisted moral of a message about how the truth and its pain is always a better option over the enmity born of lies, but I wouldn't say that it does it by making fun of lies and the lying liars who tell them. In fact it tends to be pretty knife-in-the-gut about how much lies ruin relationships.

Like Imagawa once said, "If you continue to make a copy of a copy of a copy eventually the image degrades to nothing".
In other words, the next remake might be like the initial airing of Engage Planet Kiss Dum at this rate.

>Valvrave does ultimately have a hamfisted moral of a message
No, it really doesn't.
>>15220094
This is Valvrave.
>>15220354
Imagawa needs to learn about lossless image formats.
>>15220094
It was hilarious while it was airing
I pity anyone who wasn't locked into it in spring 2013 the same way I pity the guys who missed 00 back in 2007

Well you'd be wrong, but I'm not the one bumping every thread below this one to sink it off the board, so...
