/m/ ONLY talks about Gundam and 80% of the time that is only a Gundam that is currently airing. If /m/ is not talking about it show it's because either most people have not seen it, or more likely people enjoyed it but there is simply not much to discuss about it. So generally a show not being discussed is a sign of quality and not awfulness like you stated.

I watched the whole thing. I paid for it, too, because I had never even heard of it until Discotek picked it up and I was like, "Oh hey, Discotek puts out good shit and this has a robot in it so I have faith."

Turns out, "boring trash with shitloads of wasted potential" is a very apt summary. It doesn't get any better later on. Orguss comes in with a bunch of great ideas and squanders them all in favor of the same shitty love triangle bullcrap that's in every other crappy anime show.

Pretty much this. I found Orguss enjoyable, if somewhat average. The only thing that really stuck with me about it was the intro and the WTF ending.
