Captain Harlock Dimension Voyage seems a really good manga. I own volume 1 and it's basically a retelling of the original manga. Plus various elements of the Leijiverse (Great Yamato, Mahoroba, D-Guard). I would like it to be a sum of the leijiverse leading to a big crossover.

I dpn't know if talking about different continuities is correct. From what I understood there was an initial continuity starting with miraizer ban and concluding with GE999, but after the second series that same continuity was altered because Ring of Nibelung, G Yamato and Mahoroba were used. But I'm not too sure about what I read.

That was a scrapped movie that should have been released in 2013, Cosmo Super Dreadnought Mahoroba, and would have been a crossover of different Matsumoto works (yes, even with a redesigned Danguard, the D-Guard).
Sadly it was never released, and I was just asking info on the Galaxy Express novel, because I suspected it is similar to the intended plot of this movie
