A while back the idea came up of trying to watch a series as a group, Dougram at two episodes a week. In support of it I set up a synchtube with the two Dougram eps and some other stuff that I rotated in each week. Not many people floated through but it still resulted in me finishing some series instead of wandering off five to ten episodes in, so I'm gonna keep up with doing it.
With Dougram and Voltes V finished I'm starting a new run this weekend, probably after the Super Hero Time related stuff finishes on Saturday night.
This time the shows are: Dragonar, L-Gaim, Supaidaaman, Winspector, Vifam, Getter Robo, and finishing up Dagwon which will be replaced by Ganbaruger. I'm gonna do an episode of each every week. Not sure if I'll keep with rotating the new ones in on Saturday nights or if I'll just toss them in, I'll wing it on that.
So the way this will work is the same as the Christmas Eve marathon did, all youtubes and dailymotions. It'll run in a loop 24/7 through the week so anybody can wander in and out. Same place as the Christmas Eve marathon, too, mog-rog on cytube.
Last I heard the SHT stream over on tokunmecha goes into replays at 8:30p Eastern, right?
Okay everything's set to start at 8pm Eastern, with some goofy stuff set to start running at 7:30. Just a test card until 7:30
so 7:30ish is goofy stuff
8 is Supaidaaman, then from there's it's Dragonar, Dagwon, L-Gaim, Winspector, Getter TV, and Vifam, then it just runs as a loop for the rest of the week.
You are my official/unofficial successor.

meh, it's nothing special. I'm just trying to watch some robot shows and stuff.

also Miniforce is actually kinda cool, I'm gonna leave it in
Dragonar up next

Keeping the dream alive is an admirable thing.
Never doubt yourself.
I might get back into it mid-summer. I'll see what my adventures will net before then.
But I won't be doing a stream/sync any time soon. I want a dedicated piece of hardware for that.

>I want a dedicated piece of hardware for that.
You can hold a synchtube open on any toaster that can hobble online. I've kept four youtube-types and a google drive-type going at once on the same ancient XP machine for weeks on end with no hiccups other than taima going down because of a ppv. Since all the heavy lifting is done on the servers' and users' ends it's as hard on a system as watching youtube at 144p.

Hm, I'll look into that.
But I'm in the market for a new laptop in anycase.

this is better

I'll just jump into this one too, I've been assembling some files and prepping for cytube since keeper went afk. I'm running them from my drive and I'm planning on a few different ones that can run on repeat for anyone to jump in on. I'm gonna try to keep them grouped with series and show types. got the Obari one going up tonight.

Seven shows at once? That means we're sitting down for about a whole movie's length every weekend.
At least it's a good lineup.
>>15181285
Not really? It's gonna be looping until dorkly rolls in the new episodes.

Well, it runs through the week nonstop too, but yeah this shakes out to about three and a half hours of stuff each week.
