FSS is a very niche series outside of Japan. The hiatsu and bullshit like the GTM also don't help.

I never liked the Eleshis either. It's the most bland MH out there, like Nagano just pulled a page from "how to draw MH for beginners". It looks like a knockoff of the Neptune masquerading as a budget Mirage machine. I would even prefer a Gothicmade over it.

I'm okay with the heel-less design, it worked nicely enough on the Scritti.

Technically it does have heels, but it can retract them for whatever reason.

Siren R and Berlin SR2 were also very blah MH designs. I can't say I blame Nagano that much for the GTM retcons since as time went by some of the MH just got more boring.

I understand that Nagano likes to reuse certain design patterns on his mecha, but even with that in mind this guy looks pretty darn close to being a modern Qubeley rendition. It's only really lacking the trademark head shape and eyes, the funnel rack, the colors and it's most of the way there already.

I can't help but wonder if he's ever considered experimenting with it before.
