Oops, almost forgot.

I really really want Bolt Gundam. Or, what Ive been wanting for forever is to play as some MA.


Also, not trying to hijack this thread, just a quick question: does anyone have a guide for the dlc so I can get the trophies? Seems a lot of the builder parts/suits are hidden, and although I dont mind grinding, trying to /find/ them all is a pain in the ass.

Based on hints so far and bandai namco's recent approach to Gundam games, I believe the last slot is a g-reco suit, most likely one of these three - G-Lucifer, Gaeon or G-Self Perfect Pack.

I'm kinda OCD-ish when it comes to "completing" the major suits for a series, so I too want Bolt (and Maxter). Just like I'd like Arios, Seravee and Saviour, etc. We just got Aegis, so there was no chance in hell Saviour was going to be in DLC 6.

I agree that our one G-Self looks pretty lonely by himself, but I know nothing about Reconguista.

That's a... wierd selection of suits. Can't imagine this one will be too popular.

Probably because they are going to save all variations for gb4 for a bigger cash grab. Also, I believe bandai namco only cares about opinions of Japanese and not western fans when they decide which suits to add.

That being said, if you have tried them already, what is your opinion on Buster's and Age-3 Normal's actual capabilities?

Age-3 Normal is alright I suppose. The main points of interest are the Blustia cannon Ex tied to its body, the dual saber optional on its arms and the standalone Sigmaxiss gun (long rifle). The dual arm sabers are notable in that they have a unique combo. Best way I could describe it is a floaty spin combo. I haven't spent too much time with it but it feels suited for when you need some breathing room from a crowd of mobs.

I've yet to play with Buster but it'll be a nice boon for people who love their optionals. The leg parts have a rifle with normal shots and irradiation, the gun launcher has stun on it and an EX. Arms provide a 6 tube missile pod. There's also his impulse sniper rifle that seems to only carry irradiation though that's just from the drops I've gotten so far since it's not included when buying Buster from the shop.

I'm going mental trying to get the gold trophy for build:evolution.
I must be missing just one part but I can't think what it could be.
I'm certain I have got all the Mobile Worker, Kimaris and Arche parts.

I want to combine Duel and Buster, so I've prepared Duel's beam rifle. I just want giant drill cannon with Assault Shroud backpack.

The rifle and launcher are attached to the legs, the sniper rifle is a standalone rifle however it gets used in the EX along with the anti-armor shotgun.

So, all you really need are the Buster's legs.

This solves some issues with my planned builds.....Ultimate GAT-X100, here I go!

So I'm going to Strike head, Aegis body, Blitz arms, Buster legs and Duel Assault Shroud backpack. Inspired by last post.

Not yet sure cause of Buster not released yet, but...it doesn't look bad with a unified paint scheme. But why does the Blitz's option have different modes in one combo instead of separate options? It's annoying.

Now that I think of it, something really is missing here. On the one hand I trust the leaks and am interested in them, but something really feels off. Either the things the leaker is saying are not entirely true or the dlc 6 pack is just... different in some regard. Don't mind me though, it's just a hunch, maybe I'm paranoid.

Yeah, it helps if you keep in mind that the DLCs don't alter any base game derive trees. So, you only need to check the derive options for DLC parts to see whatever it is you happen to not have.

I know you can use Hi-Nu's rifle and Nu's shield to approximate Stein's equipment but I am clueless about other stuff (aside of changing the paintjob obviously). Maybe try Sandrock's arms?

I'm sure there's better choices out there, but these gave me a satisfying look. Master Gundam has a collar and lower torso piece that can be colored individually to match Stein's, Hyaku's legs give an almost exact replica of Stein's waist guard and has colorable soles. The only thing I'd really consider replacing is Unicorn for the arms, I'd wager there's something better looking out there if you look hard enough, but what I listed should give you a good place to start.

IBO's MG boxes aren't fake; they're recycled from the 1/100 not-quite-No-Grades (or the Full Mechanic, in Lupus's case).

The only particularly fake-looking MG box to me would be Perfect Zeong's, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was such an old kit that simply printing "MASTER GRADE" on one side was actually a workable thing.

I was hoping Graze would be a grunt in the base game, since they were pushing IBO. Marasai, Zaku III and good-ole "Longshot" Leo as well. Maybe GB4.

Also wouldn't mind seeing Bolt, Maxter and Spiegel join Rose, Airmaster and Leopard be acknowledged, Calamity trio and Abyss trio from SEED/Destiny, Saviour, 0 Gundam, Arios and Seravee from 00, AGE-1 Spallow, AGE-3 Orbital, Flauros and Vidar, and the upgraded main Try trio suits.

So, 26 units, plus whatever they actually add. I'm sure they'll add other IBO stuff, but I know almost nothing about that (5 episodes and suit knowledge) or Recon, since I never even watched that. Hope Recon gets some more as well.

Sort of an unrelated question, but what does Ranged Weapon Proximity Fuse do, exactly? Is it a good idea to put it on bazookas (specifically Homing Missile and Gae Bolg) or stuff with explosive Fire Special Shot moveset (like Banshee Norn's Beam Magnum)? Or would other yellow abilities such as Ranged Weapon Penetration be better in these cases?

Honest surprise we haven't gotten the ABC Mantle in Builders Part form so the edgelord crowd can have their cake and an offensive shield too. Also debating whether the GN Fang Racks should be scaled down so their fins don't exceed the Turn-X shoulder fins by a factor of four.

Also one of the better player-made Azaleas I've seen, though I'm not personally big on the Wing Zero (EW) wings. I'll have to check against the Revive and see what aesthetic needs to be matched.

I'm fairly new to this game but how do you have such high percentages? Do you use those golden cubes you get randomly to increase the percentages even more? Because they're usually pretty low and even when applied to each piece it isn't that terribly high.

I'm thinking that once DLC6 drops for SEA region GB3, I'll replace some parts.

I think I'll swap the X1 arms for AGE-1 Normal's arms, and replace the Hyper DODS Rifle for the SigMaxiss Rifle, since I'm a sucker for underslung guns.

Uniqueness is not something well known at bandai namco. Nor is original thinking. After all it took them two, possibly three games to figure out how to make shields act like funnels (Phenex and FAU becoming available only in GB3 dlc). Strike Freedom's rifles are basically pistols + twin buster rifle too, nothing original or special on their own, in terms of mechanics at least.

Boost/Blast Tackle being locked off I can accept, since the Thrust Knuckle line does basically the same thing. Ground/Earth Shaker being retconned out, not so much. Nothing else out there at the EX level emulates a kick.

Debating doing some Mobile Fighter leg trip reporting; I gotta grind Shin Ryusei Kochouken at some point, maybe getting the Burst kick will help clue me into unearthing the EX kicks.

I've had ground shaker since pretty much the beginning. I didn't realize it was locked.

I'm pretty sure some of the first parts I used were Rising legs and Dragon body. Had to unlock that hyper mode and shin ryusei cockatrice.
