So what's some of the "safest" robots/machines out there among mecha franchises? And by "safest", I mean survivability for the personnel onboard, despite the units in question getting shot/blown the shit up.
In Starship Girl Yamamoto Yohko the ships have a teleportation system that returns the pilot to the base when the ship is about to explode.

Definitely Boss Borot.

this is a shit show
>>15165489
The boss mechs/ships in Bangai-O, since various boss characters inexplicably come back after their machines are utterly destroyed.
Also, anything pic-related pilots.

The cars from the Speed Racer movie.
No seriously.
Mazinkaiser. Think about it--not even the PAINT got scratched.

The pilder can get fucked though
>>15166883
Didn't stop the cockpit controls and monitors from exploding. Kaiser might be indestructible but the Pilder most definitely isn't.

Underrated post right here.
Guyver and Zeorymer let their pilots come back from a looooooooooooooooot of punishment.

Girls are cute though. Sometimes that's enough.

Soooooooo cute
>>15167616
Gosh, they ARE cute. I might check this out.

G-Self seems pretty nice. All those airbags and stuff to keep you from getting smashed against the sides of the cockpit, plus an ejection system that's shown to actually work. How rare!

Xabungle.

>literally made of scrap
>safest
Just because Boss is absolutely immortal doesn't mean that Borot is safe.
An evangelion..nukes (sorry, N2 mines) can't kill them fully, all regular military firepower is obselete and the type of firepower that can damage them is either rediculously overpowered or has to use physics defying quasi intellectual macguffin type powers
Ignoring the tang aspect and having the cockpit crushed or meeting an insanely superior mass production model, its pretty much the safest 'robot' of them all

Nuke and Mucha never get hurt.

they're within the protection of Boss' FEFatso EraField
