Katoki's Nu is just... it's utterly incredible. I love it to death. It's the first and only time* that anyone's improved on the original design in any appreciable way -- and while staying faithful to and respectful of the original design, no less. Magical.

*(Other than the Hi-Nu, which doesn't qualify in this discussion anyway.)

Panel lines are neither here nor there. The posture, proportions, small details (like all the verniers having more intricacy), and the inventiveness of the added gimmick (which ties into the Nu's descendant Unicorn AND into its alternate-universe Evolve version AND integrates non-obtrusively into the original design)... All these things make it the GOAT-Nu.
