Hush will probably end up dead because only Mikazuki can be Mikazuki. May be what even drives him to do that limit break shit in the Barbatos again and leave himself permanently stuck in the Gundam like I think he will be at the end.

Everyone Ein "killed" that somehow managed not to suffer significant injuries at the end of season one is on the block.

Two "No Death" passes for Naze and Amida getting killed, so someone's getting to survive. No bonus for Aston, he got Biscuited and doesn't count for the final season kill count.

I know this is setting the shippers wild, but I can't but feel this is just Mikazuki being fucked up again. He wants a baby because he thinks they would be fun to have around. He's not grasping the responsibilities and whatnot of raising a kid, it's just "Babies are nice. We should have some around the base."

In regards to Mcgillis betraying Tekkadan after 'promising' he wouldn't.

I'd say its 50/50

While he did betray his childhood friends, there were signs that he was going to do it for ages, whereas his is shown to be more considerate and thoughtful of his alliance to tekkadan, even if he intends to be top dog in the alliance, it proves he still wants the alliance.
So far, he hasn't been shown to have any intention to betray tekkadan during his free time, and its belivable that he sees Agnika Kaieru in Tekkadan when Mika saved him.

With Gali and Carta, he was consistently shown to be manipulating them, even going to so far as to say "it would of been better for her is she died" when carta survived her second encounter with tekkadan. and with Galio, it was obvious when he donned his montag persona and assisted tekkadan in getting to earth and providing them with a ship that he was working against Galio.

So far, the only thing he's done to betray tekkadan was alerting Carta to their train, but it was obvious he did it to set Carta to die. I can only gather he'll set tekkadan to die and be martyrd in some form or fashion, but even that seems unlikely since he knows their strengths.
>>
>>15161540
It's more than that. He discovered the concept of legacy in the nursery and now he wants to explore it first hand. It would be interesting to see his hopes and dreams being passed on, not to just have a kid around. Of course his approach is still Mika's brand of autistic because he wants to casually use Atra as a subject of said exploration whom he thinks is convenient and willing. Mika's gonna Mika but he sort of made a progress as a human being in that he has broadened his perception of the world with a new concept.

>>15161598
>It would be interesting to see his hopes and dreams being passed on
The issue with that though is that Mikazuki doesn't HAVE any hopes or dreams. His drive in life begins and ends at "Orga Said".

Of course, this is the reason that Atra first came onto the idea of wanting to have a kid with him. Hoping that a baby trap might actually get Mikazuki to have some self-consideration for once.

Actually, Orga looks to Mika a lot. It just so happens that Mika's primary solution is to kill whatever's threatening them. You could see it when they were on the bridge and everyone's calling for retribution, Orga looks to Mika, and gets the "You had better let us murderize the place" look from Mika.

Orga is the one with no defined goal, that's been the running lecture he's been getting all season. Mika's has always been to make sure everyone else has a chance to gets to their goals. Beyond that Mika clearly doesn't know but he's show to have actively been at least thinking about it. He saves his money since he knows that's what you do with it, even if he doesn't know what to spend it on. He learned to read, because that was a way to find out what to do, and he had been working at farming as something to do after fighting. That was his whole point about it being good that he can't walk anymore. Now he doesn't have to divide his time between finding his own goals, and making sure Orga finds his.

Mika's crazy, but like someone else said, he's consistent in how he's crazy, and of all of the characters, he fits the whole child soldier thing pretty well. (Also, he gets less vocal and more killy with every nose bleed.)

Hexa frames are the shittiest frame type for any of the mobile suits. They were literally designed to prioritize pilot safety at the cost of everything else. The Rodi frame is overall a better frame from the pre-war era due to its versatility. This is, of course, excluding Valkyrie and Gundam frames.
>>
>>15161979
What? Official info on the website says hexa frame was based around mobility. The only part about pilot safety is that in the manual they said they put the cockpit in the head to make bailing out easier.
>>
>>15161991
So I guess Vidar didn't really kill any of those insurgents then?

>>15161995

Besides it seems that their heads are too small to have a cockpit in the head.
No Hexa Frame was killed on screen aside the one mentioned above and many who are stabbed on the chest.

I can't really see a reason as to why Rustal would be the antagonist. Like, why is he in opposition to McGillis? Besides having known war criminals in his employ, there's little evidence he's all that corrupt.
>>
So why Mika didn't got a cute little medal for solo that MA?
>>
Will McGillis' young gunts pilot Valkyrie frames?

>>

Galan Mosa. Knowingly instigated and perpetuated a war on Rustal's orders.

Still not entirely certain as to why. We knew he did it to trip up McGillis, but I'm still not sure precisely what Rustal's motivations for wanting to trip McGillis up are.

Just thinks the new kid on the world council is getting too big for his britches?

>>

It feels like the series is closing? Or am I missing how many episodes are left?
>>
>>15162446
Hush was made to carry Mika.
>>
Okay so, how many eps do we have left? 9? Even if the ending is possibly good or bad, do you think they'll do a second season because fuck us?
>>
>why is he in opposition to McGillis?
I would imagine Rustal spent most of his life pursuing political intrigue to assume his role as the most powerful and influential member of the seven stars. It's really no surprise that he came into conflict with McGillis who wants to take that position. Rustal probably doesn't even know about his ideals of reforming Gjallarhorn, he just doesnt want to lose to the upstart illegitimate son of the Fareed family.

That's because it was really just her classic "How can I piss people off and then pretend it's good writing because I invoked an emotion from my audience" thing. Yeah it was a dick move, and I'm sure people are pissed, but overall season 2 is at least watchable for the most part. Season 1 was one of the worst things I've ever watched. Lafter was a good girl and the way they killed her sucked, as does the backstabbing plot with Jaytal or whatever the fuck his name is, but literally everything about Kudelia was so bad I wanted to mail feces to Okada every time I watched an episode.

His hands were tied. Jasley has the support of the other branch leaders and Mcmurdo has no real evidence that Jasley is the leak. Plus Teiwaz is already weakened from losing the Turbines. Losing Jasley's branch would hurt it further.

No. Fuck right off with this rationalize "No man you don't get it, they HAD to act retarded and not do anything!" bullshit. He didn't order an investigation on him, put him on probation, try to check his power in any way or really do anything. Old man is still the boss, not Jasley. He either takes the kid out while he can and cleans up the mess afterwards while putting trustworthy people in charge of his group, or he deals with mutiny. "No I don't have them caught red-handed even though I know they did it and I literally run this organization so I can't do anything at all while he runs around killing my subordinates" is not a good reason to move the plot that way, it's a piss poor excuse to cover up lazy writing, and you're actually retarded if you think it's ok.
>>
>>15162766
Presumably. Dainsleif rounds can be seen in the shot where the Flauros and Hasmal are first being excavated. The Dainsleif is just a high-power railgun, so as long as the round can be accelerated by a magnetic force then it should fire.
>>
>>15162794
Dude is kicking a nest of hornets after lighting the last one on fire. Doesn't he have any awareness of the tech that Tekkadan has? Sure, they are a small, ragtag organization when you get down to it. But they still have not one, not two, but three ancient weapons known for being WMDs, two of which have been improved from their base states through major overhauls and one with forbidden weaponry. Anything he sends up against them is toast.
>>
>>15163004
Yeah but Jaslay has Iok the master keikaku man and highly skilled soldier.
>>
>>15162952
Yeah, by now Marina was already singing
>>
>>15162990
Naze and Amida's deaths were also very obviously engeniered to jerk the plot forward with barely any logic to this advancement such as Iok for some reason blaming Tekkadan for his terrible performance against the MA. Those things barely connected, but Naze and Amida had to go in order to make Tekkadan vulnerable, so they manufactured the conflict and drama.
It doesn't feel like the events flow naturally to their conclusions and consequences but rather there are certain plot points in the script that were written beforehand and obvious and awkward plot devices are used to force arriving at those plot points.
>>
>>15163034
When it turned out that Naze was actually a selfless and super awesome dude who loved his family and extended family and was the good son and not putting up an act at all, it was obvious they were going to kill him off. At least his last battle was cool in a sort of "going out in style" sort of way because he got to save (most of) the girls.

That said, literally everything involving Iok is too retarded. He's like a retarded comic relief character pulled out of a SoL comedy show and stuffed into what's trying to be a series mech show. I just can't wrap my head around how stupid him and everything involving him are, so I've completely given up on that shit making even a shred of sense.
>>
>>15162990
He was doing an investigation. And if he removes Jasley now with no proof it pisses off all the other branches who may use it to mutiny against him. He's the boss, but that doesn't mean running around doing anything you want. He's trying to hold the organization together and pissing off all the people running its different branches would just break it apart.
>>
>>15162997
I want them to already have a few rounds recovered from the previous shootout ready to lock and load. Jasley shishkebabed with the same weapon that killed Naze and Amida would be poetic.
>>
>>15163058
>He was doing an investigation.
There were absolutely no tangible results or indications as to the depth of his "investigation".

>And if he removes Jasley now with no proof it pisses off all the other branches who may use it to mutiny against him.
If only there were a way to put him on probation or monitor his actions or not just let the guy planning a mutiny rally up his troops to overthrow the leader because "it might piss off some people."

>He's the boss, but that doesn't mean running around doing anything you want
That's exactly what it fucking means when the alternative is getting overthrown by your "son" who you know killed your good kid.

>He's trying to hold the organization together and pissing off all the people running its different branches would just break it apart.
Are you retarded? Why do you assume that every other branch is against him, and that showing weakness, stupidity and a distinct lack of prudence is somehow the best way to win over the loyalty of his men, most of whom were behind him or Naze as opposed to Jasley?

I can't actually believe that anyone is stupid enough to watch shitty rationalization like this and think "Yeah this totally makes sense and isn't plot induced stupidity because they need the plot to move in this direction."

I can't help but feel Iok is there in response to how the audience liked Gjallarhorn guys like Crank, Ein, Gaelio and Carta last season. They were seen in a pretty good light by a number of viewers. Hell, Carta's death had people calling Mikazuki evil and a monster.

So now we got Iok, a character there to make the audience want Gjallarhorn taken down as he fucks everything up. With someone like him, it's a lot easier to root for Tekkadan.

Kudelia has also created more of a demand for child soldiers, resulting in the number of human debris increasing to meet demand. With Gjallarhorn weakened politically, arms conflicts using those child soldiers are breaking out, as well as acts of terrorism becoming more commonplace. And let's not forget that said economic independence was only possible because she installed Makanai back into power, which in real life could constitute an act of political corruption. Not to mention Makanai's attitude towards using child soldiers, even threatening Tekkadan into being his bodyguards. And she has also made the guy who tried to have her killed multiple times a ton of cash.

So yeah, she has done more but she's also done a lot to fuck the world up herself.

I don't care about any of this shit. Tekkadan must absolutely come out on top in all of this. It's a sotry about a bunch of tormented orphans who just want to find a place for themselves, but their sole existence seems to piss the universe off. Or rather, seems to piss the people in power off. It's like no matter where they go the system becomes disrupted so apparently the only place where they're supposed to belong is at the very bottom, right where they came from.
And above all, creating a world without child soldiers does not fucking mean we need to kill all the child soldiers. Not the way to go about it if you ask me!
>>

>Out of all the main characters the only one who I find sympathetic is Kudelia.

IBO flirted with moral ambiguity but went back to black and white morality while somehow making most of the cast look like villains.

Most anime, manga, cartoons and comics do not do moral ambiguity well and some fans are so desperate for grey morality that they insist an evil scumbag is justified because he has a point.

That's Mika, a single character acting on their own, not "most of the cast."

>Working for a corrupt politician
While being essentially bullied into it and, again, unwittingly.
>>
>>15163321
There's a reason why they piss people in power off. Tekkadan are in it to gather power, prestige and profits for themselves, and as such they are willing to help anyone who can return the favor. Makanai gets put back into office, a simple smuggler like Naze raises through Teiwaz's ranks and they're trying to make McGillis the leader of Gjallarhorn. Tekkadan is the ones responsible for disrupting the system, and they're doing it for their own gain.

Hell, remember the Arbrau branch? The way they acted not only pissed off the soldiers they were supposed to be advising but also the guy from Teiwaz who ended up betraying them. In their first meeting with Iok and Julietta, Tekkadan cared less about working with the rest of Gjallarhorn and more about securing the kill for themselves to secure their own prestige. And let's not forget, they're gungho about killing anyone they think wronged them including unarmed civilians.

So no, Tekkadan don't deserve to come out on top. They deserve the reality check they're getting right now and need to grow the fuck up.

>Naze raises through Teiwaz's ranks.
There's literally nothing wrong with that other than Jasley's jimmies being rustled for no reason other than to be a nuisance.

>Hell, remember the Arbrau branch? The way they acted not only pissed off the soldiers they were supposed to be advising but also the guy from Teiwaz who ended up betraying them.
Yeah, now that's the real bullshit right there. But thanks for making my point for me. These soldiers were completely incompetent yet too fucking cenceited to be taking instructions from a bunch of kids. The deal was that Tekkadan would be training these soldiers, it's those guys who were insubordinate not Tekkadan. Saying it's the kids' fault for getting betrayed is exactly my point why all of this is bullshit. Same for the accountant, he did not have any reason to betray them, at least not a justifiable one. He was just a fucking cunt pissed because he needs to work with uneducated kids. "They deserved to be betrayed" is the biggest untruth and injustice you could possibly push.

>Tekkadan cared less about working with the rest of Gjallarhorn and more about securing the kill for themselves to secure their own prestige.
Nope, Arianhrod, especially Julietta were the ones who were solely after the prize and proving themselves before their leader than actually taking the pirates down. Tekkadan was in it to secure a clean and stable route for Teiwaz, thus actually serving their organization. There are no bigger glory hounds in this show than Iok and Julietta.

>We never got to know the circumstances of Makanai's overthrowing

Makanai wasn't over thrown out of office, he had to resign after a being connected to a corruption scandal. And considering how he then turned around an rewarded Kudelia with her deal and Tekkadan with a position afterwards, acts that could constitute political corruption in real life, there's a very good chance that it was his own actions that did it. Not to mention, remember how he lied to Kudelia to get her to come to Earth in the first place?

> There's literally nothing wrong with that other than Jasley's jimmies being rustled for no reason other than to be a nuisance.

Why don't you actually try watching a Yakuza film? Families don't get along with each other, and vie for power within the organization. Putting Naze ahead would endanger him.

> Arbrau.

Remember how those same soldiers called out Tekkadan's behavior before the war actually happened, and how the accountant said they were acting like animals? There's that. Considering they were put into a leadership position and showed they couldn't lead, let alone maintain good relations with the people they were working with, says a lot about them. They were in a position they weren't ready for, and they suffered for it.

> Tekkadan was in it to secure a clean and stable route for Teiwaz, thus actually serving their organization. There are no bigger glory hounds in this show than Iok and Julietta.

You might actually want to rewatch those episodes bud. Tekkadan makes it quite clear that they have to be the ones to defeat the boss and secure the glory for themselves. The Teiwaz bit was to raise through the ranks themselves as well as justify working with Gjallarhorn. Not to mention they were in it for revenge at that point too.

You might want to stop ignoring parts of the story that make Tekkadan look bad. They fuck up a lot. The show has made it clear they don't understand the politics of their surroundings.

>They had no reason to believe Makawao was innocent.

Consider the following. Makanai lied to Kudelia to get her to come to Earth in a scheme to be reelected. When he was revealed to have no power, he then used Kudelia's desire for the half-metal deal so she would help him and then threatened to revoke his protection to sic Gjallarhorn on Tekkadan if they didn't act as his bodyguards. Everybody who died on the trip to meet him died over his lie while Tekkadan are forced to work with him until they go revenge happy after Biscuit's death.

That's the point I was getting at. Makanai is one of the scummiest people in IBO just based on what happens on-screen. He is responsible for the death of 50-some Tekkadan kids during that first season, the consequences the world suffer after it, and his rewards to Kudelia and Tekkadan could easily be seen as acts of corruption. It's very hard for him to seem innocent, and even Kudelia said his concern over Chad (the one moment where they try to make him sympathetic) seemed out of character.

>>15163461
Not to mention if you know about coffee, Akihiro would be going on his third crack right now. He's dancing around his own destruction.

Only the writers will ever know what's inside of Mika's mind That, in my opinion, is the reason why Tekkadan as a whole is so hard to identify with. It's like watching Code Geass without knowing what's going on inside of Lelouch's mind, it becomes an anime about a high school teenager going on killing sprees with his newfound power.

It's actually easier to identify with Celestial Beings (Gundam 00) because they had clear goals and motives. Tekkadan's motives, on the other hand, are driven by Orga's desire to show Mika something that has never been explained throughout the show. What is it? What's their endgame? It's vague, and in its attempt to be poetic it turned into something unrelatable for the viewers.

I agree with your sentiment, but you're being too harsh. Tekkadan is a start-up company in a semi-lawless world, where nepotism and keeping the status quo has been going on for generations. They are not heroes of justice out to start a revolution, they just want to make a living in such a world. Controlling the whole of Mars just furthers their economic interests. They simply want to play the system to the best of their ability.
>>
>>15163462
Tekkadan does not contain all the child soldiers in IBO.

Don't think murder is the right word for Tekkadan they decided to join in a civil war and are pretty much all combatants barring Atra.

Gjallarhorn does a bunch of bad shit that sometimes makes little sense

Doesn't make Tekkadan's actions good.
>>
>>15163422
>Makanai wasn't over thrown out of office, he had to resign after a being connected to a corruption scandal.
As reported by Gjallarhorn controlled media. We have no reason to believe Iznario wasn't part of it considering he already had his puppet set in place jump in and grab the power for him. But if Makanai is indeed a corrupt asshole, how does this exactly warrant some kind of divine retribution on Tekkadan who were unaware of it all and were merely serviceable of Kudelia's agenda if said agenda was supposed to help Mars? They are not politically savvy, they're barely educated at all. I doubt they even comprehend the idea of political corruption.

>Why don't you actually try watching a Yakuza film? Families don't get along with each other, and vie for power within the organization. Putting Naze ahead would endanger him.
If such conflict in mafia is only natural, why are you so upset with Tekkadan about disrupting the status quo? Would have happened anyway, it's only natural.

>Remember how those same soldiers called out Tekkadan's behavior before the war actually happened, and how the accountant said they were acting like animals? There's that.
Abrau soldiers were a bunch of prejudiced pricks, they were never going to maintain good relations with Tekkadan whether they behaved or not, period.

I see no difference between Arianrhod and Tekkadan in this, expect Tekkadan having more to win on this than Arianrhod who is there literally purely for prestige. Rising up in the ranks through actual achievement is still a more substantial cause than wanting to show papa Rustal how well one fights in a mobile suit.

Though I'm gonna guess Julietta and Vidar won't change much, Juli is pretty much a boy and Vidar only need hips, his tits are already bigger than Juli.

>We have no reason to believe Iznario wasn't part of it

We also have no reason to believe Makanai was 100% honest. After all, the only reason they went to meet him was because of a lie.

You say Tekkadan aren't deserving of divine retribution, but look at the facts. Post S1 people have suffered. There are now more child soldiers, more human debris, armed conflicts are breaking out on Earth and acts of terrorism are commonplace on Mars. Despite all that, Tekkadan only care about their own success.

> why are you so upset with Tekkadan about disrupting the status quo?

Tekkadan enters into these worlds of politics, politics they have no understanding of and don't even attempt to play the game. Instead of treading carefully, they rush full speed ahead. You can't treat their lack of political sense as an excuse when it leads to them pissing everyone off.

> Arbrau

Remember Aston's attitude towards the soldiers? Takaki tried to get him to ease off when it was clear he was antagonizing them. But sure, continue claiming it was the soldiers' fault.

> I see no difference between Arianrhod and Tekkadan in this

>Wow, nice back peddling. So it's okay if Tekkadan antagonizes the people they're supposed to be working with in order to gain prestige for themselves?
How did Tekkadan antagonize people they were working for? By securing them a safe pirate-free route? Well excuse me, I had no idea working for the benefit of Teiwaz is actually working against Teiwaz because there are less effective and successful peple in the organization who might get upset and cause unrest. Is that what you mean? Because you're honestly losing me.

>Remember Aston's attitude towards the soldiers? Takaki tried to get him to ease off when it was clear he was antagonizing them.
Actually, Takaki said both sides had a point. He didn't say Aston was wrong, the thing is Aston is an ex-slave with no social skills so you got to take it easy on him unless the optic you're assuming is absolutism, kind of like the show did in the end.

>Tekkadan enters into these worlds of politics, politics they have no understanding of and don't even attempt to play the game. Instead of treading carefully, they rush full speed ahead. You can't treat their lack of political sense as an excuse when it leads to them pissing everyone off.
I wouldn't say they're not being careful considering they're more obedient and considerate of Teiwaz, McMurdo and Naze than Jasley. And probably more than Iok is of Gjallarhorn.

>Post S1 people have suffered. There are now more child soldiers, more human debris, armed conflicts are breaking out on Earth and acts of terrorism are commonplace on Mars. Despite all that, Tekkadan only care about their own success.
No matter how hard people try to link all of it to Tekkadan, they're just a piece of a bigger puzzle not the sole catalyst for all the unrest. So punishing them is misdirecting responsibility. Why was Martian Gjallarhorn so corrupt in the first place? Why should Tekkadan asume responsibility for all that is fucked up with the world when they're not the one who's managing it?

So much for picking anything up as a powerless civilian. Even a political marriage between her and McGillis would make more sense than what she opted for.
Last we've seen her interact with Noblis she was asking him for more money. I don't believe this money comes without a commitment.

Anyway, in case Tekkadan, Arianhrod, McGillis and Gaelio all perish things will essentially be back at square one if not regressing as far as the post-calamity war chaos. What are we even left with? Makanai, those other economic blocks, remnants of Teiwaz, rampant pirates, Noblis and Kudelia who's somehow supposed to take control of all that as a cherry on top? >How did Tekkadan antagonize people they were working for?

Because they were working with Gjallarhorn on that one sport.

> Aston is an ex-slave with no social skills so you got to take it easy on him

He's part of the group Tekkadan left behind to advise Arbrau's military. If you put someone like him in a position like that, bad things are bound to happen. There has to be a leadership quality and the ability to work with the troops, and that's a big problem since all the real leaders of Tekkadan are one planet over.

> I wouldn't say they're not being careful considering they're more obedient and considerate of Teiwaz, McMurdo and Naze than Jasley. And probably more than Iok is of Gjallarhorn.

Politics isn't just about maintaining relations with your allies. It also deals with managing relations with the opposition.

> Why was Martian Gjallarhorn so corrupt in the first place? Why should Tekkadan asume responsibility for all that is fucked up with the world when they're not the one who's managing it?

Mars isn't controlled by Gjallarhorn. The crushing poverty Mars suffers from is the result of policies set by countries like Arbrau. It's something that's been said since the beginning of the show. It's also been stated that Gjallarhorn's influence is proportional to how close it is to Earth. The Mars branch is very weak, unable to deal with threats like pirates and creating a demand for PMCs.

Treating Gjallarhorn like a scapegoat, that's misdirecting responsibility.

Not quite truth. Mars is known to be the main territory under Arianrhod control. Gjallarhorn is also known as a formidable force to every PMC and, until Tekkadan, the only one around with mobile suits. Gjallarhorn "losing authority over Mars" apparently barely made a dent on Rustal's complacency and we're never really shown them to be in any shambles. All in all Gjallarhorn seems pretty fine despite their fuck ups and mismanagement, it's Mars that's getting short end of the stick.

Carta attacked and killed someone who wasn't fighting for the purpose of throwing Takkadan into disarray to create an opportunity to escape because she was getting shit on. This happened after a surprise attack where she tried to sneak up on them and wipe them out after hunting them like animals. Why the flying fuck would Mika suddenly agree to an honorable dule with her?

>>
>>15164263
>I'm curious to know what would be the adequate end for Tekkadan according to you if even Aston dying didn't satisfy your thirst for retribution.

Okay, I'll bite. Gjallarhorn civil war happens and both Rustal and McGillis are KIA. Without McGillis, Orga cannot assume the throne of Mars. Gjallarhorn is seriously weakened and with the organization's corruption exposed the remaining Stars seek to rebuild it as a new peace-keeping force.

As such, Tekkadan and Kudelia are asked if they would help oversee Mars. Some members of Tekkadan choose to do so, others leave to find other employment with Tekkadan's help. This incarnation seeks to address the various problems Mars suffers from under Kudelia's guidance. Akihiro for instance is shown leading forces trying to stamp out the Human Debris industry.

In the end, Tekkadan are in a better place than they started in.
>>
>>15164128
Because it wasn't just their side that had casualties, Carta lost some of her men too, but this is always forgotten.
>>
>>15163990
How did she ambush them? When after making a successful drop, she has her men fall into formation that gets one of them shot.
>>
>>15163981
Which is just the show being inconsistent.
>>
>>15164309
Orga does feel some regrets about the people they have lost to get here, but realizes that this could truly be their promised land. As such, he leads forces to clear shipping routes of pirates in Naze's memory.

Mika is a wild card. Could be dead, a vegetable, stuck in a wheelchair on his farm with Atra and his child, or he could be helping Orga do his job in a rebuilt Barbatos. Take your pick.
>>
>>15164309
But if McGillis is dead, then so is Tekkadan's connection to the authorities. Even if it's kind of a back-door connection. Tekkadan might even be outlawed in an event of a Gjallarhorn inside war.
>>
>>15164353
Way I was thinking it was the remaining Stars recognize that Gjallarhorn was corrupt and offer amnesty to McGillis's forces barring certain conditions. Bringing Tekkadan into the fold could help with public relations, especially on Mars where they are viewed as heroes after the events of S1. And again, this is Gjallarhorn reforming into a new organization.

But this is me spitballing the kind of ending I'd like.

>>Carta's death had people calling Mikazuki evil and a monster.
>I still don't understand this one bit.

Carta was willin to have an honorable duel and MurderKid smashed her while she was talking.

Carta and Crank's death left a bad taste in my mouth because Mika didn't show any respect for them. The whole characterization of Mika revolves Orga and how he'll do anything for Orga, but it only made him one-dimensional.

This thing pissed me off a lot in the first season. It`s like they just made Ein non-treathening or cool very suddenly so.
