Why /m/?
>>
>>15157325
EOs are just more limited funnels / bits / incoms.
>>
>>15157330
Yeah but funnels and bits require newtypes/cyber-newtypes so the only thing you can really compare them to is incoms. They'd be really useful weapons to pop over like a crevice or a trench or even above water for an underwater MS.

>>15157325
because he's cute

It does. They're called DRAGOONs.
>>
>>15160837
EOs are a bit different, they don't fly out to the target but stick to the host units moving along with it.
They are cute, like little pets that carry large caliber weapons.
>>
>>15157330
>>15160837
Funnels/DRAGOONs can't be used in the atmosphere.

Yes they can.
>>
>>15161027

Thats a lot of wrong.
>>
>>15160852

The back units do chase enemies around. Great for pesky with high ams stata
>>
>>15161235
That's in space.
>>
>>15161251
You haven't seen Gundam X.

The Bertigo's "Bits" are the closest thing Gundam has to EO. Cause they're able to be used under Earth's gravity. Funnels/DRAGOONS cannot be used in Earth's gravity.

Gundam X funnels are the only ones that can be used in atmosphere.
Although Planet Defensors are superior

Psyco Gundam Mk II, Chaos, and Destroy say hi.
>>
>>15162367
>>15162367
That's wrong, the Qubeley Mk II and Psyco Gundam Mk II use them on Earth.
>>
>>15162395
>>15162408
No they dont
>>
>>15162426
What are you talking about? Psyco Mk II uses its reflector bits in ZZ in the fight after the Dublin colony drop, Ple goes and overpowers Ple 2's control of them just before she dies. The arms on Stellar's Destroy detach and fly around all the time during her battle with Impulse and Freedom, and the Chaos uses its gunbarrels on Earth too.

Anything can fly with sufficient thrust, it just doesn't necessarily fly well.
>>
>>15162426
Confirmed for having never seen ZZ or Destiny.

While the latter is no big loss, at least know what the fuck you're talking about before you spout shit.
>>
Everyone forgot 00's Bits/Fangs already, I see.
>>
>>15161027
Psycho MK II uses them in atmosphere in ZZ.
>>
>>15162476
Those would count if Armored Core 4/FA had Exceed Orbits... so idk Sol Dios might count there.
>>
>>15162395
I love it when people don't check the specs.

Psyco Gundam Mk II:
Wire-Guided Psycommu Beam Sword
Reflector Bits
Similar to the Shamblo's but still:
[Not Funnels]

Chaos Gundam:
Mobile Weapon Pod
[Not Dragoon Pods]

Destroy Gundam:
"Sturm Faust" Detachable Arm
[Not Dragoon Pods]

I will admit this was an amusing scavenger hunt. I'd say Chaos' Weapon pods are most like AC's EO cores while Bertigo's Bits are most like the EO back weapons.
>>
>>15162476
GN particle magic is really something
>>
>>15161027
DRAGOONs can't be used in the atmosphere. Funnels, and only specially made ones, can.

DRAGOON is a badass name for a weapon though. One of the things SEED did right.
>>
>>15162454
>>15162450
Didn't the Shamblo have something similar? Those were lifted by rotors, weren't they?
I do recall that in Unicorn, Kshatriya's funnels were able to destroy a ReZel that was firing up at it, hovering at ground level which would be comparable but probably ultimately lower to Earth's gravity.
>>
>>15164901
Why does it matter if the Psyco Gundam Mark II's reflector bits are for defensive use if they're arguing about whether they can fly or not? They have the same propulsion systems that funnels do. The Shamblo's reflector bits are of a different design and utilize contra-rotating twin rotors to hover.

Although Chaos' weapon pods are shaped like the EA's gunbarrels, they carry a model number (EQFU-5X mobile weapon pod) that makes it related to the Strike Freedom's DRAGOONs (EQFU-3X Super DRAGOON) and are stated to have the same "quantum communication" technology that the Legend and Strike Freedom utilize in their DRAGOONs.

>>15164928
The reason why ZZ raises a fuss about whether remote weapons work or not in an atmosphere is because the Qubeley and Psyco Gundam Mark II both deploy their weapons on Earth in episode 36. There are stupid scenes where the funnels and bits are actually holding still while the two suits are in an aerial battle but there's no visible thrust. When they launch and move the funnels and bits are shown to be using their thrusters, but then they shut off thrust and hover in place and fire/block.

>>15164934
Yep, and those were specifically designed to hover. Unicorn more or less realistically portrayed the Kshatriya's funnels properly, they were unable to stabilize when they were trying to hold still to fire, and were only stable when in forward flight.
>>
>>15162353
>>
>>15164901
>t-t-they don't have funnel or DRAGOON in the name so they don't count
Fucking seriously?

Also I like how you didn't quote >>15162408 , which specifically mentions the Qubeley MkII , which has funnels called funnels AND uses them on Earth. So you're still wrong.
