Okay, someone help me out here, how in the world do I actually beat Shadowmoon? During his barrier phase you just need to jump on your bike to avoid the green lightning, but how in the world do you do the red Shadowmoon phase? It's almost instant with the lightning, the lightning hits for a third of my health even with a level 46 Kuuga, and they pretty much instantly kill my tag even on Guard mode.

Dodging does nothing because the dodge is too short, blocking can only block two of the lightning strikes before you get instantly staggered and thrown to the ground at which point it hits as soon as you regain control, the AoE is double the green lightning, and even if you do somehow manage to get on your bike he'll just instantly snipe you off it due to the enormous AoE of it.

Half the Souls bosses were easier than this guy, and this isn't even on Hell mode, just Hard.

I found that grinding the first KR1 mission (where you play as him in the story mode) in free mode on hell is a great way to grind levels. For Shadwmoon you want to have figures that increase both your attack and your health. Faiz is a great character to beat him with but otherwise you're aiming to try and last out until you can activate your final form and deal tonnes of damage at once. You only need to defeat him on normal difficulty to actually get the character unlocks so it's easier than it seems.

Load times are literally nothing on PS4. Going from level select --> Rider select is like two seconds, and going from Rider select --> Mission setup is like four seconds because of the characters needing to load before you can select them on the screen. Then loading a stage is about three seconds, it's amazing compared to the last two games, I remember browsing threads for like half a minute or more during those loads.

Best grind is Shadowmoon 1 actually, the one where you're timed and he has a barrier. You get 4-9 level ups every half a minute and all you need is either Daguva + Ultimate Kuuga or Lord Baron and that's it, and once you get Lord Baron you can grind out two figures instead of one, it's great.

For like 200 bucks you could make your own Rider costume. Dunno how much it would cost to put together monster suits, but if you keep it simple, probably not more then 500 bucks for a nice looking suit, plus a few hundred bucks if you want mooks to run through, a couple hundred depending on what kind of filming equipment. Might have to get permits for filming, and maybe pay some actors. If you really go DIY and don't worry about trying to make something to rival the real shows quality, you could totally make an original episode for close to 1k, which is easily below the amount of money you'd save after a year of no Rider merch from the whole general.

My inner fanboy was having the time of his life. Ibuki is also one of the amazing newcomers I didn't expect, everything he has is fantastic. Kaixa is so-so, Knight is nice for bobs but not bosses, and Zeronos slaughters in Vega form. I love it. Haven't tried all of the Showa Riders yet but #1, #2, V3, and X have all been awful to play as with X being the worst I'd say. Nothing he has is usable, I thought the long pole form might be but nope, the hitbox is at the tip, not where you normally attack from.

My problem is his attacks take years to come out and he has nothing to mob with. You could probably throw an attack range on him or something to alleviate that with, but then you have to deal with the hitbox of the thing. It just drove me mad.

Necrom was probably the show's biggest disappointment. His time as a villain and redemption arc were great, but after he becomes a good guy, the writers just don't know what to do with him and he just becomes another voice in the "Takeru is our savior!" choir.

So I finally got my bugvisor with the belt attachment and dangerous zombie. But when I plug in the belt, I get "Get In!", the noise that's supposed to happen when the grip is attached to the chainsaw side, instead of the transformation standby noise starting. Both sides are working, I tested them with the grip. I watched a few videos so I'm pretty sure I'm not missing a step. Am I an idiot or is this thing fucked?

Tried it both ways, same thing. After fooling around with the buckle and pressing the buttons in the other connection I was able to get it to work. Plus while I was able to push in the chainsaw side with my fingers no problem the laser side needed the buckle to work, so it is a connection problem. That sucks.

Apparently it was to focus on writing the solo Ghost movie. I guess Toei doesn't want another Gaim situation where the solo movie is given to someone else and basically bombs.

Even in the 1st half of the show, he always had to take 2 episode breaks between his arcs, so he was never a fast writer. Add a movie and then we get the 2nd half's mess.
