One of my oldest designs. I normally get positive responses to her, but I've received at least one pretty harsh criticism.

Nice meme. But in all seriousness, I've actually redesigned this guy numerous times since I made that pic like a year ago. Character design is fucking hard and my own designs never seem satisfy me.

Someone, please post Scopedog/RX-78-2 hybrid i saw there in early 2016.

Horrid seems a bit harsh, but hey not everyone likes the same things. I think she's cute but I'm biased.

I don't plan on changing her colors unless someone approaches me with a color scheme I like better. I'm fond of the bright colors.

I'd replace the screws on the uncovered cheeks with either vertical vents or nothing at all. The armored faceplate feels like it could do with a bit more detailing, in contrast; maybe a pair of lines from the bottom of each red piece to the bottom of the blue piece?

I like it. The polished drawing on the right is well posed and apart from the linework that could stand to be cleaned up a little, I think overall the design is solid. For me just appreciated her face and waist armor most, her legs look maybe not quite as coherent, but taken as a whole it's a nifty piece of work. I'm with you on the colors, the vibrancy suggests a very colorful neon world she might inhabit.

Not that guy but change the colors. Make the two blue base colors less saturated and the "lights" or what ever would look better as orange to compliment the red.

The art on the right is an older design, drawn by a very kind friend, the art on the left is mine(clearly not as good ha ha) but is her current design, I tried to make the design a bit more coherent.

I'm always up for helpful criticism, stuff that gives me an idea where to go ya know?

And you're spot on about the world she's for. Very bright and vibrant. Lot's of glowy bits ha ha.

I really dig this design. As a pretty neat toku feel with the scarf and I'm a sucker for opening heat vents. Visors you can see the eyes through are always rad too. Good stuff, Anon.

Now if I could just stop procrastinating on my art lessons I'd be a few steps closer to doing this sort of thing for myself.
