IBO has what...5 Gundams? Barbatos, Gusion, Flauros, Kimaris and Bael. Three of them have multiple forms, and Barbatos has something like 8 now, but several of those are minor enough changes they don't even get new Gunpla, just some extra parts with the base form. In total, I think there's like 13 salable Gundams. Which is pretty much in line with how many kits Gundam shows have had since SEED. AGE and G-Reco had a good deal fewer Gundams, but SEED, Destiny and 00 all had around that number.

Build Fighters had only slightly less Gundam units at maybe 10 main-ish ones (Build Strike, Star Build Strike, Build My II X Maoh, Double X Maoh, Wing Fenice, Wing Reniscita, Amazing Exia, Amazing Exia Dark Matter & F-91 Imagine). Any other ones were probably fairly straight builds or so minor a cameo they don't get kits. Build Fighters probably had a lot more non-Gundam kits though, so acting like IBO is especially egregious is fairly pointless.

The MA theoretically have ahab reactors. Fuel is used for things like the thrusters as after being buried for 300 years its supply was depleted (MS need fuel too. There have been multiple times across the series when an ms ran out, including the second episode). If they required gas for some sort of internal generator, it never would have woken up in the first place as after 300 years its gas and energy would have been depleted even in a low energy hibernation mode. Meanwhile ahab reators are mentioned to basically work indefinately. The point of the conversation about the base raids was that while it had plenty of power from its reactor to get up and move, after 300 years it needed to replenish its other supplies.

Pluma run on some sort of battery and wireless energy transfer system from the Hashmal. According to the manual those disc things located in the wings are wireless energy emmiters to provide power to the pluma.

2)Holy hell, I genuinely hope it isn't final form of Barbatos(but chances of that are very slim). It looks un-finally, I think that even normal Barbatos Lupus looks more like final form to Barbatos!
3) I think that it looks so non-final mainly comes from SCALED DOWN shoulder armour. Why the fuck would you make it smaller for final form? Not only limbs are thrown out of proportion, it really doesn't look like ,,rex"(king)
Let's take Barbie form 1(2,3,4 by extension) and 6. 6th has bigger EVERYTHING, there is no room for discussion it looks more powerful. But here? It's a tie.

It seems to me that Barbatos Lupus and Barbatos Lupus Rex are opposites of eachother. Lupus is more heavily armored and bulkier compared to it's previous forms (aside from Form 6 cause he's just wearing a suit of armor). Lupus Rex on the other hand is thinner with smaller pauldrons and less armor, but larger weapons, hands, and feet. Probably because Lupus Rex sacrifices durability for faster speeds and stronger attacks. More unwieldy mace that has greater destructive potential than the sword mace. The Hashaml's tail blade that tore apart suits or sent them flying. Larger hands and feet for grip strengh, stability, and just more destructive hand-to-hand combat potential. And who knows what else the suit has hidden up it sleeves. So basically Lupus is more defensive, while Lupus Rex is more offensive. At least that's what makes sense to me.

Overall, Lupus Rex is not what I was expecting for a final form of the Barbatos but I do like it. Now excuse me while I go pre-order my 1/100 Lupus Rex.
