The villains makes the show enjoyable. I liked and rooted for them more than I did the actual Kyoryugers. They also had the most character development than the heroes and the only good Kyoryugers was Utchy, Nossan, Ian, and Tessai.

One of the most middle of the road Sentai of recent years. Basically half the team was nothing with Blue, Pink and Star being the standouts. Yellow had the least presence while White and Red were about equal. The villians were also pretty ineffectual and not very interesting with the only real interesting member being Kyuuemon.

Go-Busters was not well recieved, Ninninger bled ratings and underperformed despite being one of their most marketable themes, and Zyuohger has record low ratings.

Zyuohger and Ninnin having absolute shit toy lines and mecha doesn't help honestly.

Zyuoh's mecha are absolute fucking garbage and the cube gimmick isn't really all that appealing.

Show is great writing and action-wise but the suits are boring, the mecha are ugly, the weapons are ugly, and the toys are shit.

I also do think that when Sentai's biggest money maker is the mech toys that maybe focusing on making the mech battles cool and exciting should be a priority. They always start phoning them in around episode 4 or 5. That's not going to sell your giant robot toy to kids.
