Probably that a show about basketball mechs made out of old cars that wear giant sneakers and can run on walls and stuff would be silly fun. Which it was. For the first 4 or 5 episodes. Then the idols started taking over, characters that were important were written out or ignored and drama started over taking comedy.

There was talk for a while about them looking to redo the series, but it never materialized sadly. Still, the first episode is really fun and I love the weird mech design, especially the big runners.
