"Y-you too."
man out of context this show seems like it'd make a wonderful BBC comedy. This is some black adder shit
>>15098807
The humor is as dry as the show is, so in context sometimes you'll forget to laugh.
>>15098815
Oh dorkly chair, never stop being obsessed.
>>15098815
Only Best Korea can animate LoGH.
This reminds me.
I need to watch those Gaidens.

I guess I have a few rare-ish LoGHs.

>>15099025
What's this?
>>15101197
I believe he was a veteran of the independence wars in space.
>>15101206
Which gaiden is it? And why is schenkopp in the pic?
>>15101215
It's not a gaiden, it's one of the later episodes.
>>15101216
That can't be from the OVA though.
That survivor is way too old.
>>15098349
Just found this

is an idiot, the pic is from Spiral Labyrinth, when Yang is interviewing the last survivor of the UC 730 mafia, episode 4 or 5 iirc.
>>15098476
Where's the exploitable version?
>>15103603
had 27 titles that sold more than one million copies.
>>15098606
>tfw you get friend zoned so hard you refuse to love again
>>15103572
Anyone know if there sources for LoGH's mechanical design that aren't basically thumbnails? The designs are all fantastic but I never see full illustrations like what you'd find in the Sunrise Art Works books.

What scene is he talking about?
Quick, everyone post their favorite ship
>>15108887
New and huge. What's not to like?

I'd wager it's the entire ending of Marr-Ardetta.

damn this is some good shit
I wish there was a macross2.net style anthology of all the LOGH ships online somewhere, with stats and everything.
Does anyone have a vector or a higher quality image of the Iserlohn Republic Government Forces patch?
>>15109970
>All the alliance ship have standard paintjobs
>Meanwhile the Mauria has fucking tigerstripes
>>15109970
Which ship Yang was on when he was assassinated?
It wasn't the Hyperion was it?
>>15112361
Leda II
>>15111170
Here have a Rosenritter
>>15112388
Lucky until it wasn't. He should've gone on Ulysses II, even if it was slower. The cultists wouldn't have been able to get through all the crew and security.
>>15112333
I really hope Nguyen Van Hue actually does some shit in the later novels. He was at Amritsar and some of the Iserlohn battles and was important during the Civil War, but basically jobbed hard during the chase after Geiersberg's destruction. It just feels like a lot of interesting and talented Alliance admirals die off, whereas the Empire loses nobody who matters.
>>15100775
Bump for moar
>>15101377
Their ships make no sense.
The only way I can see them making sense is that they're actually just huge floating guns which take up the entirety of the ship. Otherwise, it would make way more sense to put guns that could rotate like an actual battleship.
>>15118904
Do you think Napoleon had the luxury of traversing cannons in his time?
Because that's what was going through Tanaka's head when he was coming up with this shit, I'm sure of it.
>>15098606
i came here to kek, not to feel
>>15118904
They did show that the Empire ships have retractable anti-fighter turrets. The FPA presumably have some on their ships as well.
Keep in mind that all the battles are giant space versions of pic related. The ships don't operate independently or in smaller battlegroups but in in fleets numbering in the thousands. Smashing fleets together is tantamount to suicide unless the admiral knows what the fuck he's doing. So, it makes sense to design the ships around maximizing the amount of firepower they can bring to the front of the formation.
>>15118904
It makes sense when you're far enough away from your enemy that they are facing you 99% of the battle. Having their guns in a turret would either decrease the size and power of the cannons or decrease the number of weapons.
Also, their ships can about face pretty quickly, so turrets for the big guns are more or less obsolete.
>>15120451
In addition to this, going broadside in a spaceship would be a good way to get yourself killed. If you aren't pointing directly at your enemies (or away from), your visible profile increases. To stop their ships from being hit as often, they made them with the smallest frontal area possible, i.e. long and skinny. Putting guns on the front is an extension of this. Reinheart's flagship is one of the exceptions to this, where he uses sloped reflective armour to nullify all enemy cannon fire at the expense of it's own bow-mounted cannons. LOGH has by far some of the most realistic spacecraft designs in any far-future sci-fi I've ever seen.
>>15120786
Sometimes the shields are weird, though. The shield bubbles when active enlarge the profile of the ship. If they kept the shields off, a near miss would just be a near miss instead of hitting the shield bubble and draining the ship's energy resources.
I guess it does seem like the shields are usually offline for damn near almost all the time. Never saw shields stop missiles and boarding craft, either.
>>15120786
>>15120451Mass Effecthad some nice science to go together with similarly justified large starship designs.
>tfw I was watching the anime way back on youtube, I took a break for a week and it was taken down before I knew it
>I go to my youtube watch later playlist and see the title:
"Legend of the Galacti..." This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by TOKUMA SHOTEN PUBLISHING CO., LTD..
If only to showed me more letters I'd see what episode I was up to. It was about ep 100 or so. I'll probably wait for the new series.
>>15123527
can't check your history?
>It was about ep 100 or so. I'll probably wait for the new series.
that's a shame, you were about ten episodes from the end, and fuck knows how long it'll take for the new series to come out
>>15123532
No history, was years ago and was watching it on an iPad. They're perfect little video viewers, but they do limit you to potentially unreliable streaming.
>>15120795
Yeah, the inconsitancy of the shields was one of the only problems I had with the series.
The other was the time that some ships combined their beams in to one fuck off huge beam, like in DBZ: The World's Strongest, with no setup or explanation and it's never used again. I can't remember what episode it was or even which side used it, but I was baffled when it happened.
>>15111202
Oh god, I forgot about this guy.
Whatever happened to him and his statue?
Anyone got the Oberstein autism one?
>>15127398
Is that even a question?
Pure dictatorship of course, there's no such thing as a pure democracy.
One man can be pure, but a bureaucrat cannot be.
>>15123853
This one?

Detroit?
