It's a solidly okay but not great show. Decent action, good music and mecha design, story however is not as engaging as it could be and a lot of the characters (esp. Daba himself IMO) could be a lot stronger.

Do you like ZZ Gundam a lot? If yes, absolutely. If no, avoid like the plague.

There's really not much else to it because Brain Powerd offers better designs if you're a Nagano fanboy wanting more of his stuff.

Although that show is awful for entirely different reasons.

I don't think L-Gaim was a bad show but i kind of started losing interest when it became serious in the second half. I wanted it to be like Xabungle in the sense that it was comedic througout the entire show

L-Gaim had some good ideas, but I had to drop it by episode 20 or so because so little had happened. There is ALLOT of filler. Nice Mecha design and Mech battles though.

If you like Tomino's style, you'll love L-Gaim.

If you don't, you'll hate it.

I hate the assumptions that things might have been worth watching then but wouldn't be worth watching now. It's either always worth watching, that is, then and now, or it's never been worth watching. Things are either good or bad, time doesn't change that fact.

Well, not really, I mean watching something MOTW heavy as a kid is not the same as watching that as an adult. In that sense L-Gaim would fare just as fine as any modern RR series if you don't count the animation, the plot is okay.
