I had almost successfully repressed that one.
>>15090518
There is no escape.
>>15090509
i like how this is somewhat canon because it explains how the empire planned the location for the 2nd death star
>>15090492
Gonk droid a cute! A CUTE!
>>15090492
Annihilator Droid, was suppose to be in Attack of the Clones, but Lucas cut it out
>>15090589
I always fucking loved how those things just rolled onto the battlefield
also they have SHIELDS
>>15090492
SCORPIO did nothing wrong!
>>15090589
WHERE ARE THOSE DROIDEKAS?
>>15091030
>>15091036
I did think that was pretty cool, too bad it only got shown twice in the whole trilogy, for a few seconds
>>15090589
>>15091037
>>15091022
The prequel Trade Federation droids are cool as fuck.
>>15091057
The roller bots are the only remotely passable design. The rest are complete fucking assgarbage, just like the prequels themselves.
>>15091064
The RLM drones are here.
>>15091065
>i have no argument in defense of my shit so I'll just pretend everyone is a drone

I fuckin love battle droids. Especially the concept of an orbital hive-mind battlefield control computer. I once ran a tabletop scenario, wherein the most benevolent "good guy" was a decomissioned droid control ship, long after the clone wars, with entirely too much time on its hands. It spent its time exploring the galaxy, acting as a droid grim reaper: it scavenged droid junkyards, taking any dead droids it could within itself, and incorporating them into his collective army of droids. It started with a compliment of B1s, but eventually had as many different types of droids as there were, patchwork creations, but battle droids were its weapon of choice, as it had the most experience with them. It usually walked around dressed in heavy outerwear to disguise its skeletal nature. After the war it wanted nothing more than to be a friend to the galaxy. It dictated that the PCs were the best chance the galaxy had of restoring itself to sense, which it had not had since before the clone wars. In the end, it took on a super star destroyer in orbit, and deployed its army of the dead, acting as a decoys, and eventually suiciding by crashing into the opposing ships. This was eventually shown to be a ruse, as it had downloaded its memories into a memory bank on coruscant, downloaded its kernel into a single battle droid body, and had been making itself rich as an "obsolete droid repair company" for decades, slowly turning the entire planet into a ressurected version of itself. Still debating on whether I want it to return as a benevolent force, or an all consuming force of malice.

gonk.
>>15091072
You never made any argument as to why the prequels are shit.
>>15091064
>The roller bots are the only remotely passable design.
Not even the starfighters? They were good
I miss Battlefront 2
>>15091074
The eventual return would see it having already spent decades on Coruscant, having once purchased a scrap company, where it would take in broken down droids, melt them down, and sell the raw materials to droid manufacturing companies. After it had spent enough time accumulating enough money, it purchased the company it sold its materials to, and promptly fired the organic workers. It began producing every class of droid it could, but wiring them into a central intelligence computer, thus making the collective more intelligent and expanding its knowledge, while also being incredibly popular due to the versatility of its products, and because it had no staff to pay, they were exceptionally affordable. By the time the ship housing its main intelligence died, it had fifteen other cores on coruscant, and millions of bodies. The entire point of all of this would be an eventual mass droid uprising, demanding equal rights between synthetics and organics.

Mecha-Shiva? It's real!
>>15091126
seconding, could you imagine if they combined that with Rogue Squadron and Force Unleashed into one game with today's consoles? You could literally play all six movies from every perspective!
>>15091962
> Star Wars sandbox/Shadows of Mordor game
> Start game on a Death Star analogue of some kind and have to sneak around the station or surrounding space (so snubfighters are in) using various means, gathering unwilling allies however you wish to take down the Emperor analogue

>>15090568
>somewhat canon because it explains
That has never been how it works. Nothing outside the films was canon back then, shit contradicted other shit all the time. That explaination meant nothing to to other SW works even then.
A-Series Assassin Droids were nice. Shame they only showed up a couple times in some Clone Wars comics. And as a pretty neat toy in a comic two-pack.
>>15090700
That thing is fucking terrifying.

This fucking thing defines Clone Wars. Fucking absolute monster, going in on Jedis and Clones like they're nothing while rolling down and deploying like badasses.
>>15090589
Damn, the CGI is so dated.
>>15094058
They made an appearance in a recent Rebels episode where they took on AT-PT walkers. Shields OP.
>>15094065
What episode?
>>15094065
They do? As what? Remnants of the Federation?
>>15091127
>>15091074
Yikes, you sound like in your element right now, which is admirable.
>>15091126
I want to use DROIDS! The thing with new Battlefront is there's only human/creature characters.
>>15090647
Gonk Droid is truly based, he gets to stand around all day being a battery
Demolition Droids were cool as heck
>>15091126
>"Officially, there never was a 'clone rebellion' on Kamino."
Those Droid fighters that look like Ball type mobile suits, they were cool as fuck.
Also that droid gunship we see for 5 seconds.
>>15090492
If only the Droids didn't have that retarded voice

Best cameo, or best cameo?
>>15097211
How would you r8 R8
>>15094234
I never really thought about how cool of a concept that an endless army of droids vs. and endless army of clones is. Sounds like something you'd get into an argument over with some classmate back in grade school.
It's so simple that it's perfect, some could say it's almost likepottery
>>15090492
As always Lucas underused the coolest looking ones.
hello fellow republic citizen what is happening in this thread?
>>15097136
Surely what's in those droids is combustable. That seems unwise.
>>15097386
You're not fooling anyone.
>>15097217
BB-8 Is a cute I don't like TFA that much but I would cuddle BB-8 and give it pats and hugs every day.
