Sounds like that's a bit more developed along than your proposed six episodes. I'd argue that'd take about a cour or so, kinda like Lion Maru G. Similar idea in that, primarily comedic toku series that suddenly gets fucked up towards the last two episodes. I highly recommend it if you want to see Sid from Gaim be bullied constantly.

I'll give it a watch, I've been looking for a non rider toku for a bit now.

I'm not doing six longer eps anymore, I'm planning on maybe 15-20 short 3 minute episodes. The problem with 7 minutes is you're kinda obligated to have a fight in every episode, which doesn't leave a lot of room to develop characters. 3-4 minutes means I can have episodes that are solely for fleshing out characters without having to transition to some kinda fight sequence. Also they're much easier to shit out. Everything before this hibiki ass retool is basically not canon anymore, shit was mess anyways. Thanks for the support btw, I hope not to disappoint owo

If you want my 2 cents, try and keep up with the tone you were pushing from the Teaser 1 on your main channel. I liked that oddly surreal, calm take it had. The music also helped quite a lot. Like the protagonist was sort of shoved into the supernatural and impossible, and just sort of looks at his hands, before stepping up to move along with it, potentially due to something of grander scale.

For an example of what I mean, check out the first couple episodes of Xam'd. The protag in that gets turned into a horrific mutant monster, and after panicking as he essentially MELTS and becomes a monster, he quietly starts fighting as though he knows exactly what he's doing. It's an intriguing style that's hard to really nail, hell it's hard to describe. But when it's done right, it's enthralling simply because of how eerie it can be.

I'm one of the original suggesters. Since the first draw-up of the suit had the protag smoking through his helmet, I suggested a lighter idea, where he just turned on the lighter and the flame would obscure his head, becoming the helmet.

I'm guessing Melonkoi just sort of went over the top with it, going from a fancy pose with a lighter to literally using zippo-lighters with custom designs on them inside of some sort of wrist-doodad.

To be honest, I'm just pleased my input's been a mainstay so far

The biggest challenge would just be making more of the wrist-mount, but you've got all the measurements for that now. All you need to do is have that as the uniform for others. A few cheap zippo lighters fill them in, and boom. Gadgets! Of course, easier said than done, but it's always good to see it written down.

No problem! Also, I'd use stuff like Hotline Miami's calm sequences as a good influence. Definitely keep the "Used VHS" visuals though. That's a genuinely unique feature and can really help you stand out. It also helps you skimp a little on the prop department since shit won't be very clear.

Just finished Drive, muh boys. That might be the most satisfying conclusion to a rider series I've seen, and all I have left to watch is Wizard.
