Both have their strong points, but I kind of prefer the Sub. Mark Gatha is like the only English VA that ever got how over-the-top /m/ characters should get and Master Asia was genuinely menacing in English. Rain & Allenby sounded better in Japanese though, so take your pick.

I say dubbed if you saw it as a kid but if its your first time watching then go subbed.

I watch all mecha anime subbed because of Super Robot Wars.

Both have strong points. the Japanese VAs are more consistent, but dubbed has some good in a funny way lines like Mark Gatha screaming "I'M A WONDER BUG!!"

and to be fair to the dubbed VAs, they did want to go back and re-do the episodes after they got the hang of the characters, but they weren't allowed.
