Come to think of it, if Terada actually tries to put a toku show in SRW that actually focus on the mechas, then Gransazers would be a interesting addition. Most of the show screentime is robots and kaijus punching each other, compared to Sentai, and the mechas themselves are pretty important in the plot.
One of the problems when doing that is how are you going to make the mechas represent the special moves of both themselves, and the characters piloting it. In that case, Gransazer's mecha concept makes it piss easy to do so.
It's has four distinct robots (Chouseishin), each piloted by one of the three members of the four elemental tribes in the show, for a total of 12 pilots we can use. Each pilot gives the robot an enlarged version of their on-foot weapons, and members of the same tribe can switch places. Using that we can make a pilot-switching system (similar to Aquarion in Z1) for each of the robot. The others Sazers all have support fighter planes respective to each element too, so they're not totally stuck in the bench.
There's a big ass dragon as a battleship, another beefy military robot to use too, and the four robots can even combine in to a motherfucking Godzilla-like abomination (which when combine with the switching system can give us many different 4-man combinations)
There's even a enemy mecha with classic Gespenst's shoulders which can be a secret

That's something I liked about ACE 3. Go, Kei and Gai were your playable Getter reps outside of Ryouma and Black Getter but that might also have to deal with Shin Dragon getting jacked and serving as the final boss.

Just send Moimoi at a boss unit with a high barrier such as the Eva units and you win.

While not a good unit, it's an alright SSR and much better than many SRs.

The game aged poorly and you don't really want to deal with hours wasted in squad management due route splits and forced deployment destroying the squads you made. Bosses that stack 2L, Guard, +defense leader abilities, and every other dirty trick in the book are so common in late Alpha 2 that I shouldn't have to point out specifics. Against them, you want every scrap of damage you can get, and suddenly your big ALL champions aren't doing fuckall (Nelly Brain especially) outside of maybe Gaiking and Mazinkaiser.

You must be really, REALLY neglecting your ALL attackers if suddenly they can't do shit against bosses. Most of them packs a finisher along their ALL that delivers quite the punishment to single targets and in my experience, only Jeeg had issues damaging bosses and even then it was fucking invincible and could dodge forever.

And as I mentioned before in one of my previous posts, even Daizengar, which if I remember well had the highest base damage of all units, was worthless most of time and had to be babbied by an ALL attacker like Jeeg to actually gain the morale neccesary to fill it's only niche in the game, that is hitting bosses hard.

Excellent squadmates. Brains and Huckebeins are pretty good as squad fodder because they give barriers to the entire team. As leaders, you would probably only want to use the main character brain and the co-protagonist one to abuse of their combination attack

Brains are excellent squadmates as they cost 1 and fly and have barriers that they pass onto the squad (So do the two Huckebeins and Nesser from Gaiking). They also have good PLAs. But their damage output gets bad in the lategame because they're S sized in a game where sizes mean a lot and there's no Size Ignore, so only ever lead with Nelly Brain and spam its comboattack. (I had them backing up Daimos personally)
