217 S.E, Solar Era; 217 years after the conclusion of the Cold War (called Third World War) and the victory of the Soviet Union. With the existence of a power-collecting solar sail called Solar Ring System and the control over it by the Solar Soviet Government, the new name for the winners of the war. The only remnants of capitalism resided within the United Nations of Neptune, once the British Empire, as they lost a space war that raged between 120 and 180 S.E, but also brought technological advancement for both parties.

The lonely blue planet, with its population being used as working proxies for the inhabitants of the Solar Ring System, was left alone until 205 S.E. A man by the name of Chal Guevara, the descendant of the controversial hero that brought freedom to the Cubans in exchange for their poverty and surreal lack of human rights, decided to use the secret weapon of the Solar Government; the anti-fascism tactical weapon called GUNDAM.

Mobile suits, weapons that brought destruction during the Space War.

Chal, after activating a secret system inside the GUNDAM to reach the United Nations of Neptune quicker, created a warp tunnel between Earth and Neptune by accident. Both sides, misunderstanding the situation, held as the traitor by the Soviets, and the hero by the Neptunians, threatened to rage war against each other. As the weapon responsible for the unification of Neptune and Earth had been lost, a new kind of Cold War started in order to search for the GUNDAM and its strategic power to bring the end to both enemies.

Capitalism and socialism, they would be destroyed depending on the GUNDAM.

Until, a lone boy found the weapon that bought the new start of an era.
