Yeah ran into the same problem back when I emulated it a while back.

Which is the best one? I just got my PS3 modded, so i've been looking for stuff to cram in there.

Is R really that bad? I'm always up for a mediocre game if the robots look cool, and I fucking love Full Metal Panic.

I was in your situation a couple months ago.
I actually went and bought a physical copy because "it can't be that bad", and I love King Gainer.

I played one mission and haven't picked it up since. It's kinda of impressive fromsoft were able to make a ps3 game handle worse than the first armored core.

The biggest problem is that they went from a controls + weapons scheme/mechanic that were decent (2/3) to something that could be arguably worse than 1.
