OP 1 (Masked Rider AGITO, first verse): Why are they on a race track? It can't be just to cut costs, since I'd imagine it would actually take more money to rent a race track for filming. Isn't this just gonna make people have the wrong idea? Were the characters originally supposed to be motorcycle racers in the original story? Also, Ryo is constantly shown going through physical therapy and smiling, even though neither of those things ever happen in the show.
OP 2 (Masked Rider AGITO, second verse): Speaking of things that never happen in the show, why is Hikawa throwing down his badge and pointing his gun at Ozawa? But hey, at least they're not on a race track anymore.

OP 1 (Alive a Life): Random people holding Advent cards, including a kid, with their eyes censored. I originally thought that the implication was supposed to be that these people were originally gonna be Riders, but I wonder if that's really true. Surely they finished all the casting prior to filming this. Also, a bunch of completely random imagery of random objects that have literally nothing to do with the show. Still, unlike with Agito, nothing actually stands out if you don't think too hard. It just gets a little weird if you put it under scrutiny.

As much as everyone praises them, Kuuga's bike scenes are painfully awkward. Honestly, I feel like even I could outrun him at the pace that he drives that thing.

That's probably why they don't do bike scenes much anymore. It's hard to do them without endangering people, and if you don't risk a certain level of safety, it ends up looking terrible.

Adding on to this, it was also my favourite series over all probably. Fourze was great and all and had much higher highs than Wizard, but it also had some incredibly garbage episodes. Same with OOO and W. Wizard was so consistent in each episode's quality and steady that when marathoning it, it didn't feel like a chore, whereas with every other series before it I either wanted to just drop it around episode 30 or 40. For me this wasn't the case with Wizard, I could just keep watching it until the end without feeling fatigue. The movies were quite shit though and markedly worse than Fourze's, but the actual series in my, I can understand, unpopular opinion was the best I've seen so far solely because it was thoroughly and consistently entertaining and good.

If we're going there, how did Kougami Foundation ever figure out how the medals work? How did they build all these things harnessing the power of medals? How did Kengo's father manage to create all the switches by himself all alone on the moon? It's all just part of the setting. That you have to accept with the premise of the show.

Wizard on the other hand got REALLY bogged down in those, and had even more boring characters that didn't make those episodes fun to sit through at all.

It's the spot between Phoenix's final death and the mid-40s that got tedious to me. They tease a bunch of plot points (Section Zero, etc.) that never matter, and all the villains are fucking terrible except White Wizard, who never shows up much until the end.

What that show really needs are new subs. Not that there's anything wrong with scrubbing, but you are working with TVN subs here. Who knows how inaccurate those are. I mean, Blade is famous for having 70% sub accuracy in its early episodes, and that is not a good number at all.

There's still an issue of ethics. Many of them didn't even fight back. They were slaughtered one-sidedly.

Haruka, unfortunately, is straight down the middle. He's an Amazon who was cultivated with human genes spliced in. The issue can't be as black & white for him as it was for Jin, who was originally human and only injected himself with Amazon genes in order to fight them. He can't help but sympathize with both sides. That's why he can't fight purely for humanity or purely for Amazonz. As a cross-breed, he doesn't have that luxury.

In a way, Amazons is a more violent and brutal version of what Kiva could have been, had they actually chosen to focus on Wataru's crossbreed heritage.
