What does /m/ think of Dunbine? Is it worth watching?

It's pretty great. Takes a few episodes to get going and the ending arc drags hard, but overall a good show.
>>15043964Tomino lives up to his name with this one.
somebody has to scrub this shit
I think the last few episodes are dumb but otherwise it's a great show.

first third is a tad slow, but otherwise yes it is

Proto Victory, tons of fighting padding to the point it gets grating and you just pray for stuff to happen.
Dunbine and L-Gaim are my favorite non-Gundam series that Tomino made. Both utilize unique designs set in fantastic world outlines.
Unfortunately thanks to the idiocy of ADV and the retarded hamminess of Carl Macek, the DVDs for Dunbine are ludicrously rare to find. And the fucking subs are Hong Kong level despite being done in the 2000's.
Feels Zeta-ish, but with less tominautism and a cool fantasy world. pretty decent.
Started this week.
It is so GREAT!

Xabungle and Ideon (third place to Overman king Gainer) are my favorite non-Gundam series that Tomino made. All of them utilize unique designs and set in fantastic/sci-fi world outlines.
