Most you get out of L-Gaim on the whole
1. It's radical
2. The animation is good, plate faces
3. Fanservice, a bit homosexual
4. The Nagano setting, mostly with the fairies somewhere later
5. The OP/ED are too good for it

The start is prety good.
The middle of the show is pretty boring.
