Show off your builds! (pic related but not mine...will upload later)

Just got a PS4 and, because it's been so highly recommended, I picked up GB3.
Love it!
The customization, the combat, and playing with some friends works out great. I will add others if they want to leave their PSN IDs here.

Slight issue: I created a Singapore PSN account to download the free DLC and then use my main US PSN account (with PS+) as my main to play with my friends.
I get an error message each time I start because it can't find the DLC so I have to log into the Singapore account first then log back into the US account and I can play just fine.
Is there a way to circumvent this? It's not the worst thing I have to do in order to play but it's a bit annoying...
>>
How did I do, senpai
>>
>>15039589
You did just fine. I used Kshatriya's chest very early on and have kept with it so far. Love having the I-field although I believe I just got a shield that will do the same thing so I might switch it up.

So I just got DLC 2 and after doing a run in Hardcore I discovered I got builders parts from enemies. Is there a list of how many there are and how to get each one?
>>
>>15040108
It's hard to check, but you get a trophy when you get all of them, so unless you can find a proper list just playthrough all the levels until you get that.
>>
>>15040078
Nice! Kind of classic giant robot style.

OP here btw. Anyone have an answer to my DLC question in the...OP?
>>
>>15039570
Your PS4 should've asked you if you want your PSN accounts to have your current PS4 unit be your main one. Say yes to it, and you'll never have to swap accounts just to activate the DLC again. I don't know how to find that option manually since it just popped up when I made an account on my PS4.
>>
What's the point of the recently released haro quest? Is it good for late game XP, money or is it just for fun?
I'm new and not very far in the game.

What happens when you go over 900 of a type of part? I got to 5-600 before I started selling grey dupes.

I need to take some pics of the various builds I've done.
Most recent ones revolve around god gundam legs, though. I love that option equipment.

Thinking about buying this but I have some questions:

1. How is the single player, I don't mind MP but I'd like to not have to rely on it to get good shit (0081 though a completely different game springs to mind since allot of the suits where locked behind MP via the harder difficulties that drop the upgrade parts for them being only available in MP)

2. What DLC suits are there? Can't really find any full lists and I want to know what packs to get to get shit I like and what packs I can just pass on.

Wrong game, m8. But that one is just for the sake of it and also to capture the Psycho Gundams.

Anyone got a parts list for the new DLC yet? Both actual parts and Builder Parts? Might start trying to compile one myself as I still don't have the trophy for all parts for the second DLC yet. Even though I can build all 3 units completely using parts.

>>15044840
SP is fun, but samey. Mission variety isn't super great and the story is mediocre (what do you expect out of a Gundam building game?)

DLC suits are all listed on the official site. You're best off buying all the DLC or the season pass. All the DLC includes story segments that add onto the post-game story. As well as they include builder parts that aren't listed on the site.
>>
>>15045309
The MP co-op? Also how dead is it if I don't plop money on the pass right away?
>>
>>15045316
MP co-op is pretty fun. Especially if you get a team that you can do a multiple of missions with and just grind/hammer out missions quickly.

If you don't drop for the DLC it's gonna be fairly dead. Few people playing the main story at this point. People are mainly grinding for the high level or to get NEWTYPE DLC missions done. (Newtype is the highest difficulty only available after beating the on the 2nd hardest, EXTREME, which is only available after beating the game on HARDCORE)

Well, ain't it fortuitous I'd taken a break from compiling guide-type content for G-Genesis last night to play around with the new Breaker drop.

(tiny url)/GundamBreaker3SEAGuide

I can't say I've got what you'd expect from an "actual parts guide", but there's a Shop Guide and an Encounter Guide and if you can use tabs in a Google Sheet you're probably already halfway to making the right contextual jumps.
>>
>>15045721
I see, if you beat the main campaign on all that and get the difficulties are you able to jump into the DLC at the harder ones you unlocked or do you have to do each mission at that difficulty? (Because I may hold off on the DLC for now and wait until I get shit done then do it after to save some money for last minute christmas shit so it's less tight)
>>
>>15045937
If you've unlocked Extreme/Newtype, you can jump right into that level for the DLC. Just be prepared to deal with Ch5-equivalent enemy stats/parts drops from the get-go.

The Season Pass is apparently still available until the 7th? Was it always available through then or did it get extended?
>>
>>15045937
Yes. However you can unlock different parts on different difficulties it appears. I.E. certain builder parts are only available on Newtype.

>>15045956
I believe it's only available until the 7th. I think the official site says so, at least the Singapore PSN will say.
>>
>>15045967
I've hit every Builders Parts Complete trophy issued for the DLCs so far on Extreme or lower. It's pure RNG.
>>
>>15046038
Oh really. Interesting. I wonder if the higher difficulty just increases the drop chance then maybe?
>>
>>15046044
I don't know if there's a flat drop rate increase so much as the inflated HP values mean a miniboss/boss enemy just lasts longer overall, meaning more chances to break off their parts and thus more loot dicerolls.

>>
>>15046997
I like the 0 Raiser, or 00 7sword Raiser whatever, just because they make Trans Am Burst use green particles instead of red.
>>
>>15047255
Only reason I keep it on at the moment really is because I'm working on unlocking the various burst attacks fully. Well probably switch to something more useful/aesthetically pleasing once its maxed out
>>
Just bought this, is there like a guide for merging somewhere? I just don't wanna dick myself by upgrading the fuck out of an early game part.
>>
>>15047339
Don't worry too much about that. Any piece of gear can be upgraded to any rank using another part of a higher rank. For example, say you got really attached to a Gundam frame body part and got it to Legendary through sheer dumb luck. Then later on you find a Common rank...say, Full Armor Gundam that you like. You can then give that FA Gundam body an uncommon, rare, exclusive, and that same Legendary Gundam part or some other Legendary rank body part and then you can make that one Legendary too. Plus once you really get into the swing of things, money is no object and getting parts to higher levels that aren't related to rank is brainless.
>>
>>15047298
I think my favorite backpacks are probably V2 and F91.
Or just the regular old black box from a zaku or something. GN drives are cool too.

OK so I'm 99% sure the trophy for the 1st DLC for getting all "parts" is bugged. I bought the Scramble Gundam, Barbatos 6th form, and Phenex Gundam kits and still didn't get the trophy. But I already have the one for obtaining all the option parts for DLC 1.

Does anyone have the all option parts trophy for DLC 4? So far I've gotten the Dragon Head, Light, Cockpit, Combat Knife, Slash Disc, and Knee Armor. What other Option Parts are there still?

>>15047339
You'll never fuck yourself out of anything with this game. You can always re-purchase kits you if you like the design and you can always re-upgrade those parts to be the exact same as what you're using.
I've been doing that while I learn all the Burst Actions, just porting over all my maxed out abilities.

That said, Weapons are a bit trickier late/end game as you don't get to keep the element damage on them when you port them over.
>>
>>15048201
For DLC2 you're still missing Hyper Beam Javelin (Plan B), which is drop-only.

For DLC4 you're missing both of Arche Gundam's BPs (GN Fang Rack and Unilateral Antenna).
>>
>>15048165
>Any tips?

Any skill that traps enemies in place is kind of broken, so feel free to abuse them. Don't worry about leveling things early on, it'll help you later. And try to max every skill you can, more variety is always great.

>Coustwell

You'd need something with large shoulders, I can see that much. Maybe Jagd Dogas? Body strikes me as Gold Frame, and legs seem like anything with enough of a high heeled look to replicate it, perhaps Palace Athena or Rozen Zulu. Not sure about the head, that might be at your discretion, maybe a Byarlant with a builders part on it? Hard to say. Backpack could be whatever you really want out of it. I'd personally say either something out of the way or something that can replicate the shoulders so you can do whatever you like with the arms.

>I was thinking about grabbing either this, or extreme vs full boost, which is much cheaper, but also completely in moon runes. Anyone know how hard extreme vs would be to play with only moderate knowledge of japanese?
Easy as balls.
I mean really. It's an arcade game. Menu is easy to navigate, if you need to change some options - menu translations are available online.
Just keep in mind that singleplayer content in that game is few missions and arcade mode, that's it. If you want longevity of sngleplayer, Breaker 3 is better deal in this case.
For some online action you'll need to find a group to play with, cause you probably will have bad ping with Japanese so ranked games out of question.
>>
>>15054697
There are public lobbies every day

It sucks trying to play online if you're starting out as there are little scrubs to help you get your feet wet
>>
>>15054741

>>
>>15054697
Looking at the prices, I could probably afford both, given that I already have some yens in my japanese account and GB3 is on sale. Is the dlc for GB3 worthwhile?
>>
>>15054754
>Is the dlc for GB3 worthwhile?
I can't say if they are worthwhile or not comparing to whole game (cause I didn't do 100% unlock everything before they started to release), I never played previous games. But they give quite a few parts to play around with, cute little stories which go nice as epilogue. Very little new stages tho. You better off waiting for someone else to give you fair judgement.
Main problem is not even the cost DLCs the, selves, it's that you'll need to buy prepaid PSN cards, which will inflate the cost of season pass (by 1/3 in my situation).
>>
>>15054760
Yeah, I'm trying to find a good price on singapore/japanese psn cards right now. play-asia wants way too much for theirs.
>>

>>
>>15054754
Personally I'd go with yes. The individual scenarios give so much in the way of resources, from new parts obviously to Element Sphere which make grinding easier, to even new Builders Parts to toy with and Limit Breakers, which are fantastic and easy as hell to grind. Plus they're just fun, and honestly get to be pretty challenging even at max stats. I can only imagine what bull crap the later ones will pull.

What is everyone's favorite melee and ranged weapons?
I have been spending time trying out various weapon types to see what I prefer.
I noticed that each specifies the combo type it performs (IE, Saber Combo II) so I've just been going down the line.
So far I've really been liking the thrusting beam sabers (Gyan, Wing) for melee and a beam gattling gun (Unicorn).
Because it dropped, I also tried Victory Gundam's beam saber last night (Saber Combo III?) and it seemed pretty decent.

I wanna say Circular Sensor but the iris curvature's all off - it has to be something that can be in 2 places on the head for only 1 BP slot.

Welp, just platinumed the game, ask me anything. Now begins my long trek to maxing stats as far as physically possible until Build Kingdom comes out. Really hope Lupus's Sword Axe thing has a unique moveset cause god that thing is amazing.

>>15068080
Dual Katana grew on me to a point where I was using it the majority of the time. I had to force myself to try different things because it was just too addicting to stop using. Loved the Dead End G, it's probably the best Axe that's not named Gusion Hammer just for the range, and broadswords of any kind took a little bit to learn but were just so effective.

Ranged weapons varied depending on the build though. The only one I never really found too much of a use for was Gatling guns simply because even with high element they never seemed to do enough damage to matter. GN-X's beam bazooka was a standby for me until I got FX's bazooka and it's my new baby with Irradiation. Peacock Smasher is a go to Rifle that boosts gauges like no tommorow, and there's a few others I love like the Tanegashima, Nu's Hyper Beam Rifle and the good ol Atomic Bazooka.

V2AB legs have craptons of missiles, the Serpent Dual Chaingun arms are good and have more missles and obviously Gatling guns, and you could even do the head as the S Gundam for the Incom with even more automatic dakka. If you have the DLC, swap out the body for the Gusion's to swap the chainguns in the chest for explosives. And then equip full open attack as the burst and every weapon on the suit will fire at once. It's a beautiful sight. For even more dakka stack 7 of those 6 barrel micro missile builders parts on the arms for absolutely ridiculous amounts of missiles.

This is all great info, thanks!
I recently got the Dead End G and gave it a shot (along with Beam Scissors- never tried the axes before) but the attacks almost seem too slow and I expected the hit radius to catch a lot more guys. The charge attack that kills shield seems neat though.
I'm trying out some whips and whip optional equip right now and it definitely hits from far enough away. Even trying out some lances but undecided yet.

>>15070102
Legs have always been sort of weird as I only found a few with neat optional equip (although maybe I just need to try more) The 00 QT has those blades which attack really fast and Heavy arms have the homing missiles (although I'm unsure of usefulness). Besides that I just roll with the right stats. I really should pick out some that suit me best and customize accordingly.

Kinda. I think it relies a lot on the Exia torso though, and how creative you can get with the pieces.
>>
>>15070812
>the attacks almost seem too slow and I expected the hit radius to catch a lot more guys.

Axes are kind of shitty like that. Everything that's not Dead End G and maybe the Scythe have even worse range and their basic string isn't...good. I want to say it's a learning curve but it's really more getting the right combos. The one I used through most of the game had a straight 3 hit combo that looped pretty well, I think it was string 1. Both Axes and Whips feel like weapons with subpar attack strings but god tier skills, so it's worth maxing them at least. I use a whip on one of my main units and although it's fun I feel like it holds back what could be a really powerful unit.

>>15071135
If I could take pictures of mine I use a PSTV so that's difficult then I could show you examples. Ended up making a feminine build using Turn A's body and later Scramble's and it looks halfway decent. Really, anything petite should fit what you're looking for, like Susanowo's for example.

Is the only way to increase option parts' gauges with skills? It's kinda pathetic that stuff like Qubeley's arm beams can only shoot around four times before they need to recharge.
>>
>>15072061
It is. Some options just have really crappy ammo counts. The ones that do tend to have really fast charge times, though, in comparison.

Meanwhile you get things like the Irradiation on FA Gundam's arms that lasts longer than it has any right to.
>>
>>15072065
That's lame. I was hoping they might increase with part level/rarity or something. Can you at least get non-unique option gauge boosting skills?
>>
>>15072065
The weapons from the Jagd Doga's shield is pretty good.
>>
>>15072073
Well, Option Gauge Capacity can be maxed on any part that's not the shield or the weapon, which should help a little bit. Fully maxing out the stat I think is at 150% I think? If you need the extra oomph, the Power Extender on Strike Rouge and Strike Noir's body is a free 30% on that stat so it's an easy way to get that higher.

>>15072076
Honestly Shield Weapons in general tend to be pretty good. The Armed Armors and Rozen Zulu's stand out to me a bit since both have good weapons AND a built in I-Field, but in general most shield weapons are worth using. I've started using shield weapons that don't use a bar more lately, like Kyrios's claw shield and the Sub Knuckle. Having a grab you can pull out at any time to interrupt EX's is a livesaver.

Got the game last week and it's a been a lot of fun but I've got a few questions.

I've been using dual blades for the majority of my play through so far and I feel like they're really powerful. I want to branch out though so what are some of the more fun weapons to use?

Secondly, right now I'm pretty much focusing my stats on durability, dual saber damage, and armor regen. How important are things like response time, stagger reduction etc? I've found that with just shit loads of health and some regen that it's nearly impossible to die at the point I'm at (just finished Japan cup, almost at the end of the little tournament just after it.)

Also when the fuck do I start getting MG parts?
>>

You start getting MG parts once you beat the game and start playing on Extreme or higher.

Looking to get the game now that I have a PS4.

>>
>>15064822

>>
>>15076419
No. But you can only get the dlc from the region you got the game from, and by extension you need PSN credit for that specific region, as well. Make a secondary account for singapore or wherever you got the game from, get PSN credit from playasia, and when you buy dlc, load it in the secondary account first, so that your main account can access it as well.
>>
>>15039570
How the fuck do you take pictures and get them on your computer? Do you take a screenshot with the PS4, or are you guys going to the Gundam Perfect Games website?
>>
>>15076648
Press the share button on your DS4 and then copy them to a USB drive.
>>
>>15076320
>I've been using dual blades for the majority of my play through so far and I feel like they're really powerful.

They are, it's not just you. The hit ratio they have is kind of ridiculous and I'd say they're some of the better weapons in terms of basic strings.

>what are some of the more fun weapons

If you've gotten any, Dual Katanas. It takes what's good about Dual Swords and makes them better. Lances are good for being moderately fast and having an assload of reach with their combos, and and you can't beat the raw breaking power of Martial Arts hands. You'll end up trying everything at one point to start maxing skills so feel free to try anything you find. Every weapon class has at least one or two skills that make it worth using the weapon if only to get those skills available on everything.

>How important are things like response time, stagger reduction etc?

It depends on your build. Response time is generally good on any set because having more attack speed means more damage, Stagger and Knockback reduction are handy but not really necessary. If you have a lot of optionals you can pool those skills into increasing them, or you could build towards spamming awakening. What you've got so far is fine though, those 3 are rather important. Also look out for the rare yellow skills, they tend to be life savers, particularly the ones that let you ignore all stagger at low health and AVOID INSTANT DEATH. Can't stress that one enough.
>>
>>15076320
avoid instant death is mandatory on extreme and above. PG fights will consistently one shot you otherwise.

So aside from Barbatos Lupus, Aegis, Buster and the Ball, we have a grand total of 7 units we don't know about in the last two DLC packs. What are you all hoping for? Keep in mind DLC SD units are now on the table thanks to Superior Dragon.

All I need is a Legilis. Having a shield that can use bits would be amazing. Xi would be nice too. And maybe a nod to SD Force but I know Japan hates that even more than we do so fat chance of that happening.

I actually thought about Reborns and would love to see it, but it's entire gimmick is something that isn't really present in GB and I can understand why, which is transforming. It seems like they're very much avoiding that one and that would make Reborns...awkward to deal with.

I know your pain though, as the one I really want transforms too and it's the big goofy transforming hands from Steel 7. I'd take an Impulse Cornigs instead but goddamn do I want to play as giant goofy hands.

I recently bought the Season pass on PS4 and got it working on my US account. 2. Are the dlc packs worth the price?

3. Whats the best way to organize all these parts?

4. Fastest way to level parts?
>>
>>15081949
1: Almost entirely for using Derive Merge. Also if you want to have a "full" model of each kit but don't want to grind all the drops. All shop kits are automatically gray lvl 1s.

2: Yes

3: It's been a while but if you press select you should have a pop up appear that lets you organize by lvl, rarity, type, etc etc. I tend to organize by Type, then rarity, then level. Then I convert to GP any grays.

4: High Quality Plastics and Plastic Merge, if you got the mats and moolah.

For the most part, yes, they're entirely the same except for Berserk that stuns when activated with the Scramble body and Crimson Comet which causes you to damage things when you dash into them. Super Dragoon gives the bits which now work without the backpack but have their damage nerfed, and I think Saturn Engine on Zudah actually increases damage along with that I think? I know it causes you to die if you run out of boost but I'm pretty sure it ups damage.

What are the differences between the SD Gundams? Why can you become star proficiency in them and does that change anything?
>>
>>15086870
The different SDs have different EX actions. Once they get starred, you can use that SD's EX action yourself.
>>
>>15086870
Generally each acts the same on a fight except for some very small differences, namely their unique action and sometimes a few actual command differences, like I'm pretty sure Command has a few unique shooting actions that the others don't do, and so on. Knight Superior Dragon uses literally everything the others do so by having that you have no reason to ever change SD bases ever again.

Mastering an SD allows you to use their specific action, with some being better than others. Unicorn Knight's, Leu Bei's and Musha Victory's tend to be the most useful, with the rest ranging from "useful in specific situations and builds" to "my god why would you ever use this".

>>15086824
As someone who is actually colorblind, this looks a lot better. Pops a bit better, and adds a bit more character to the suit. I feel like 3 dominant colors is pushing it but that's just me personally, I usually stick to 2.

Im trying to make pic related and I need any recommendations for a backpack, melee weapon, and ranged weapon
>>
>>15087905
Backpack, maybe the Strike Rouge or Otori? They're definitely armed well enough for it, although they might be too big normally, so try the HG version. If it's still too much in comparison to the rest of the suit, you can try the G-Self's backpack, it's small enough that it should fit. Ranged would be fine with the good ol Zaku Machine Gun, and if you felt like it there's also it's Heat Hawk, but since they tended to use beams more you might want to try either the Geara Doga's or Dressien's instead. Same for the weapon, the Jagd Doga's Beam Machine Gun might be a better fit.
>>
>>15087982
At first I went with Force Impulse but the G Self Backpack might be small enough
>>
>>15088004
If you find something you really like you could always make the rest of the suit MG and make the backpack HG. I did that when I made my Demonbane for some parts and it came out better.

It'd be a stretch but I could see it happening as a way to promote IBO S2. We're already getting Lupus next DLC but they could always double up, after all every pack so far has had at least one IBO unit. If they add one more it'd probably be either that or Vidar.

Personally I'm hoping for anything G-Reco related, a Phoenix Gundam to cross promote G Gen Genesis, or G-Saviour, seeing as it does actually have an official model to go off of.

GN field's are builders parts so you can do that easily. I can't remember if you have that at the start or you get that as part of the story but I don't think it's too long of a wait. MEPE is an EX action though so you'll need to master it from F91's body part, and then you'll be able to use it on any build.

Also just the game, got started playing this week. is anything particularly OP or is everything fairly balanced?

so far i've been wearing 00 Raisers backpack, hate the design but love the GN Shield and Missles.

and i love martial arts hands but cant get a feel for ranged guns, is it just stronger if there leveled or is melee always more effective?
>>
>>15094342
Do you have to buy the builder parts or are they drops?
>>
>>15094354
Generally you'll usually get more bang with melee attacks but you can get some pretty powerful guns as well. If you're favoring Melee, there's always the fire and forget option of the Atomic Bazooka, but if you wanted a little more variety, you might simply need either leveling a gun you haven't touched much or messing with the variations and styles of what's available.

>is anything particularly OP or is everything fairly balanced?

Some weapon styles and variants are definitely better than others but for the most part you can make anything work if you put enough effort into it. Popular exceptions exist though, like blast damage shotguns or Titus arms with a full breaking build. Really just kinda mess around with everything and see what works for you.

>hate the design but love the GN Shield and Missles.

You could actually replicate both of those with Builders Parts if the Raiser just wasn't clicking for you, so don't feel like you have to burden yourself with a part you don't like just for the optionals.
>>
>>15094369

>>
What's the fastest way to level up an EX Action?
>>
>>15094410
There's no fast way to level an EX Action, at least nothing consistent anyway. At best, you can stock whatever unit you use with EX boosting parts, run long stages and spam them whenever possible. Once you start maxing abilities this goes faster but for some skills it never seems to go fast enough.

>build it
>without thinking merge a ton of points into "optional equipment DPS"
>expect it to have a lot of equipment options like FAG
>Just has radio, Sub arms, and a heat hawk
>It's sub arms move isn't eve that strong

What the fuck? Psycho had plenty of armaments in the OVA, why does it only get one sub arms thing when FAG gets, the shields, beam rifle, missiles and beam saber as optional?

It's thrusters are good, but that doesn't make up for skimping on the optional equipment.
>>
>>15094443
I actually use the Psycho Zaku back on one of my builds, and yeah, they really skimped on the weaponry. The sub arms is mainly a combo supplement and extra stun resource more than actual damage. Consider them closer to funnels than extra guns, except they have hitstun and occasionally splash damage. I actually think their rather good at that but their definitely not a damage Optional.

What level is your current weapons and parts? Jumping to Extreme can be a hassle that way. Parts merging is your best friend. Keep an eye out for those abilities that boosts damage and stuff.
>>
>>15098446
Response Time is your best friend, cap that ASAP. Durability and Durability Recovery are top priority as well, along with most anything that can boost EX gauge absorption (aside from the ones you get back for killing people with EX actions, those are garbage). As mentioned earlier, AVOID INSTANT DEATH but on the topic of yellow abilities, Ranged Penetration or Ranged Blast are good depending on your weapon and avoiding knockback and stun at low HP is a godsend to avoid getting combo'd to death.

Everything else is purely preference, depending on what your ultimately doing, either basic strings and EX spam (EX Gauge skills, adjustment), Optional Spam (literally all of the optional buffs, they're good filler skills to take if you run out of other abilities though), or Awakening Spam (Awakening Absorption, Extend Duration, etc.).

>>15097683
As the others mentioned, right around now is where you should start feeding the parts your using all of the various parts your not using or don't plan to use to start stacking abilities. Your general parts are a bit low leveled so I'd reccommend doing either a few of the DLC runs on Extreme or the last few levels on Hardcore to start building up plastic to burn and skills to transfer.

The answer depends on exactly which part you're using multiples of, and when you're stacking multiples you mostly get +Option Gauge Size and that's about it.

When I built an Itano Circus suit a while back (pic related) my aim wasn't "a bunch of the same missile Option" so much as "a near-full hotbar of missile Options I could cycle through in intermittent salvos".

>GM III Arm missiles
>Heavyarms Leg missiles
>Full Armor Gundam Body missiles
>Ootori Backpack missiles
>Ootori Backpack anti-ship sword/railgun combo because I'll need something in case I'm out of missiles
>all the +Option Charge Speed abilities I could scrounge up, so there's less time I'm out of missiles
>Long Range Weapon: GN Hand Missile Unit
>Burst Action: Full Open Attack

That last one is where you really get your big hot missile load, long as you've been building for it.

What does the GN barrier and other shield active affects do? Similarly, what does the auto-activated shields do like the I-Field unicorn shield?

It's meant to be a bit more of a mix of real and super. Like the traditional Gundam is.

Oh ok. I haven't watched the two in a while. Time to rewatch!

Absolutely disappointed that they didnt add GN Beam Fangs as builder parts. But at least the Sword is cool

You can absolutely equip GN beam fang racks as Builders Parts,

They drop from the Arche in DLCE-2. Double slots, equippable to arms, legs, and backpack.

so i just beat the main story, are MG parts a solid upgrade or is there a point to grinding HG anymore?

also i've found Crossbone and Kai Kai but was Full Cloth or X2-3 even in the game?
>>

What difficulty are you on? I too just recently finished the story mode on standard difficulty and jumped into the first mission on extreme. I never really came close to dying but it took me forever to kill things (I had almost all yellow HG parts in the leve 15-19 range). I then tried the first DLC mission and got my ass absolutley handed to me by the fucking Guncannons and Burning Gundams, I made it to the end of the 2nd stage but lost all my retry tickets. I basically scrapped my entire HG build and equipped some decent MG parts and had no problem with the mission on my 2nd try.

I was also curious about this.
Is there any difference between any of the barriers/fields and are the automatic activation ones just as good/better?

I only have the free DLC1 but that makes me want to get the rest of them.
I was in no hurry since I had just gotten the game. Just broke into extreme recently but my suit(s) now need work to be up to snuff.
It will just take some personal taste analysis and stacking a ton of affixes.

OP here,
How many of you would contribute to a GB3 general?
This weekend I was considering creating a gallery of user-created suits, gathering the excel/google docs, and sorting through other misc stuff for the first post.
I've personally gained a lot of good info that I would not have known otherwise (or possibly found out the hard way) and it might be useful or entertaining to others.

Meh whatever, it will probably dead sooner or later. GB3 thread was lively the first maybe 2 months after release (JP and Asia version) and it succumbed into darkness after that.
But if you want to make centered info and stuffs then it would be appreciated.

only completed the first mission of extreme so far, but i've been leveling different parts for ablitys, had to add Nanoskin to alot of them just to weather the bullet hell the Zakus gave but same, i usually use martial arts hands and everything takes a while to smack around. hell the Tiger guy can almost one shot with his sword

Also, they're fucking horseshit. Each Fang Pack comes with 6 fangs (not as much as the Arche's legs themselves, which are tied for Cherudim Final Battle for quantity) and they proc the dreaded stun status on hit. And it lasts for a LONG time.

Basically, if you want to be king goddamn fucking asshole in addition to being a funnel cheesemonger, you load up on GN Fangs.

All of the DLC stuff is strong, with many of them featuring new Unique Abilities (fixed-value abilities that stack additively with normal bonuses but don't offer as much as a maxed-out stat) and nice Option weapons, but I don't think any of them reach the same level as the Fangs for 'oh goddammit'

>just made Singapore PSN
>Season Pass avaliable until Jan 9th

did i literally just miss the only way to get a season pass for this game?
>>
>>15102886
I'm up for anything. I'd like to have a place to show off a bit the things I build so yeah.
>>
>>15103378
Now you have to buy the DLC one by one.
